Hey, my names Dale & welcome to my WA profile.

For me, generating a full-time income online was always a dream but I never thought it would be possible for me to actually achieve it.

Anyway, to cut a long story short it turns out that it was!

Thanks to affiliate marketing I've been able to leave my job as an electrician & now I do this "internet marketing thing" full-time, working remotely from literally wherever I can grab an internet connection.

Whilst it didn't happen overnight it's quite crazy that it happened at all - considering that back when I first started out I'd never even heard of affiliate marketing before.

It just shows that as long as you dedicate yourself literally anything is possible regardless of who you are or what background you've come from.

I love being a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community, the people here are so friendly & it's great seeing new members joining & finding success online.

Dale, I certainly appreciate your honest letter. As a widow 3+ years I have looked into so many sales companies and was still looking when Barefoot Writer showed up without my searching. I had never heard of any of this company. I have chosen the Christian market, as I am a Christian and will love it. Thank you for being so kind.

Ok, I think I have narrowed my niche down to 3 from 20, so which of these 3 would be the best one to start with? Most potential to monetize? This Niche thing has been a major block for me. I can never seem to refine it.

Which one are you most passionate about? Also, I would narrow them down - for example "boats of all kinds", why not go for a specific type of boat? Canal boats as a niche for example. That way you would be building a much more targeted audience.

The one that jumped at me the highest was boats...
I thought if I left it broad, it would give me more blog material since my first interest in grade school was tall ships. Then I moved into sailing and canoeing, so those would be my next two to discuss or open discussions in. I can do the style of boat comparisons, discuss trips, but the big question is whether there is any way to monetize this subject. I think the other two may be easier to monetize, but if this one is monetizable, then I think there could be more money in this, however, boats aren't usually a need, just a want. Sorry, I am detail oriented person, and sometimes it really slows me down!

Honestly, there's a way to monetize pretty much anything & everything. Depending on the content of your website you could promote boats themselves, or alternatively you could promote boat related items - such as maybe books... "the history of tall ships" etc... The possibilities are endless.

Thank you, Dale... didn't think about books, which may sell easier than boats. Can you do both? Boats would probably be small sailboats, and canoes. Maybe some build your own plans too. Too broad?

You could do all of those, and all together - honestly, the possibilities are endless. If a believe a post you publish will attract people looking to purchase a boat, promote a boat to them on that post - similarly if you think it'll attract people looking to buy a build your own plan, promote that to them. Just put yourself in the mind of your visitors and think "what would I be interested in purchasing if I was sat reading this post right now".

Ok... I see, so offer something different with each post, wow, why didn't I think of that? ( Cuz, I have never been even this far in my thinking before) Thanks!! :)

Hey Dale. Every time I try to login to my website I get blocked due to a privacy error. The pop-up says "The connection is not private." I just bought the premium package and a domain and am taking this very seriously, so please help me overcome this obstacle as quickly as possible! Thanks so much!

Hi buddy, just sounds like a glitch with the SSL certificate. Normally in your browser you can just click “ignore” or something to temporarily bypass it - but with regards to fixing it, if you just drop a quick message to SiteSupport (via the Help Center link on the left hand menu) they should have it sorted for you pretty quickly :)
