Giving Thanks
It is really unique how God answers our prayers. After the sermon I heard yesterday about giving thanks to God and really following him closely even through the bad times as well as the good, I found myself praying this morning about my biospy results. I hadn't heard anything yet. But I went on and told my Father that I would still love and trust Him even if it turned out that I have cancer. That has been a fear of mine living in an area where cancer is high. Anyway, I received a letter in the mail this afternoon, stating that I did have gastritis, but no infection, and NO CANCER. He added me to take antiacids along with the carafate. God is so good. When you trust Him completely, all things will work out. I just wanted to share that with you.

As a person of Faith,i just want you tol know that I love your story and I praise god for your trush in him .Please continue to be faithful and I know our Great Heaven ly Father will see you through the dark and difficult days ahead.Do have a Happy and Peaceful Holidays through His Grace.
Congratulations.
Your post touches on two aspects of my life - my faith and medicine.
So it was a double blessing!
I am certainly happy your problem did not turn out to be cancer. The hardest thing - as you alluded to - is to be thankful if it were cancer.
We have to be thankful in the valleys as well as the hills.
Be good and God bless -
Dave.

I am an Episcopalian who prays several times a day....
BUT faith-based posts are a no-no here. See #15 at Spam is a NO NO! I wonder if we could ask Kyle to create a little space specifically for faith-based posts. Since we become so close here, it's natural to pray for each other if we are praying people.
