Play to be Good

So when I'm not doing real estate, or writing on here, I enjoy competitive video gaming. I have become very good at some games, but even if you're the best player in the world, you don't always win.

So if you go into the game with the mindset of "I'm playing to win" you're bound to be disappointed a good portion of the time. Even the best players in the world only win about 60% of their games in competitive video gaming. That means that they lose 40% of the time.

So where am I going with this. While the goal is to win, the only thing you can do every game, or every day, is to play well. You can't win every game, but you can play at your own personal best every game, or try to improve somewhere.

Much like writing a blog on here, or starting a company, you won't win with everything, but you can consistently do well, and if you do that, you'll go places.

Consistently is key.
