Dare to be Mighty
Today's blog post starts with a quote. Right now I'm reading a book on life's purpose and something that absolutely resonated with me was a quote from Teddy Roosevelt. He said:
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory or defeat."
Grey twilight. That sounds so very familiar. Fear often holds us back, fear of critics, fear of failure. But the most successful people I know, and throughout history when you see great things - it's because those people that tried and did, did so because they failed more than anyone else even tried.
What is holding you back? What do you want to accomplish? And what is more important to you? Your fear? Or your goals? What are you doing to do today to step out of the grey twilight and into your own personal sunrise?
