2 Months In And We Have Lift Off!

Morning all!

Today marks 65 days since joining WA. It also marks a bit of a breakthrough.

My posts are starting to pick up traction in Google and a few are ranking on page 1 for multiple keywords.

One of them in particular is ranked at #2 in the UK, and #4 in the US after 1 month! It started at #10 when it was published so a solid start has just got better! My DA is still a lowly 1 so I'm pretty happy with this result.

A Few Thank You’s

Without the WA community, I'd have been nowhere near where I am now. The experience here is second to none and the best part - everyone is happy to share information that I'm certain they could make money from!

I wanted to give a shout-out to a few people though. The advice they've given has changed my entire game plan.

I wrote the above-mentioned ranking article based on Partha's amazing advice on keyword research and page 1 competition. I've read and re-read his blog posts. If you've ever read just one of his posts, you'll realise just how much reading I've done by re-reading them again!

I've currently made a list of over 100 keywords in my niche that I can write articles on based on Partha's research tips. That might not sound a lot in the grand scheme of things but those 100+ keywords are just on 1 topic within my niche. I could have 1000's upon 1000's when I expand to other topics. The possibilities here are almost endless!

If you've not read any of his blog posts, I suggest you start now. Just make sure you set aside a good chunk of time!

Diane's Pinterest ideas and advice have been a huge help in raising brand awareness. Without her advice, I'd have spent hours upon hours creating pins and posts. I've been able to schedule a month's worth of Pinterest pins in an hour or 2 and I now have more time to devote to research and writing.

Phil's training on setting up email lists and funnels has helped me massively. I've wanted to have an email list from day one but was never too sure how to go about it. Now I have a free ebook giveaway, landing pages and email forms all ready to collect subscriber information.

Creating A Website Is Hard Work

But not in the way you'd think.

By hard work, I mean you need to devote time and effort to making it work. As long as you have a real interest or knowledge of your niche, writing content is easy. It's the learning that takes the most time and effort for me.

And my 2 months here have been a HUGE learning curve.

TikTok, Reels and the like make it look easy to make $1000's with affiliate marketing. They make it look like you make a fortune within a few weeks. The reality is that the early days are hard work. You see very little for your efforts and it's very easy to become disheartened.

Today has given me encouragement. I can see that my work has not been in vain!
