Keeping Focused and Patient
Lately I have been struggling a bit to stay consistent with my blog, due to sleeping difficulties and my (CRPS). Very hard to concentrate when your sleep is broken. Everything starts to overwhelm you I guess, so I had to step back a bit and evaluate what tasks are important. Planning my day, was going to be one of my strategies to get things done.
Taking breaks when required and a little meditation and breathing exercises help, as well as spending quality time with the family. I won't lie to you it has been tough, but I'm so determined to make this work. Then I can get the proper treatment that I want, and not what the doctors think I should have.
I'm in this for the long hall, and love helping people here at WA, that gives me a sense of worth. Also it makes me feel good that some appreciates the help, and I feel happy they can move forward. There's one saying I like and that is from the movie Rocky Balboa and it goes like this.
The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!
Yo Adrian we did it! I get hairs on the back of my neck when I see that in the movie, one of the best quotes I've ever heard I should have taped it and replay it when I think things are getting hard. Other thoughts that keep me going. I think to myself there are a lot more people in the world that are worse off than me, and one day I hope I can help those less fortunate than me, even if it's in the smallest way.

I'm with Westbay particularly...couldn't say it better. Hope today is a bit easier than yesterday mate
Thanks Tim, I have my up and down days. Sometimes it's frustrating when I have a light bulb moment, and can't sit at the computer long enough to implement it. So now I write it down now and as soon as I'm ready to rock "n" roll again I implement it. One thing that keeps me going is all the support here at WA, absolute gold.
Hope your sleep / health improves soon and that you can get the treatment you need. Go one day at a time. Keep focussed on those goals. If you have a bad day, don't get discouraged, just move onto the next day.
Well said and it is a hard place to be on your own, that's why here at WA we help where we can?
The little things is what keeps us going. keep at the good work, you to can be a winner.
Once you've decided you're in it for the long haul, then it's a matter of getting over each hurdle that presents itself, instead of giving up. Keep focused on your goals and hang on in there.
