Starting out, how to go about achieving your goals?

Set goals to motivate you:
What is your Why? How valuable and important to you? To share a pursuit with you, what would I say to convince you it is a worthwhile cause. Every time you are at a block or stuck with a situation, remind yourself of your Why. Easy right!
Set smart goals:
Be specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and time-bound.
Set goals in writing:
Write what you want to achieve when you wake and right before you sleep. Making a template that has your goals is handy. Completing your goals thread on the profile page is the first thing you should do when signing up at the Wealthy Affiliate.
Make an action plan:
Writing out steps and then crossing each one off as you complete them will realize that you are making progress towards your ultimate goal, especially if it is big, demanding, and long-term.
Stick with it:
Choose something you feel passionate about doing. Unless it is clearly and precisely defined, your odds of success are considerably reduced.
By following the steps mentioned within, you can set goals with great confidence and enjoy the total satisfaction that comes with knowing you achieved what you set out to do.

Today I have created my website and found a nice and posted my first page of content! I'm a total beginner but I have been planning for years's trying to find a way to be my own boss and I feel like I'm finally taking actual steps towards that rather than procrastinating. My fort page might not be the best but what better way to learn if not just doing it and see where it goes right?
Hi and congratulations for setting up your new website I am really happy for you. I'm a total beginner aswel. Just like me and others here at WA have taken the first steps into a new chapter in our lives. We all are in the same boat and with guidance from WA, we shall hopefully sail to success.
My goal today is to continue doing the lessons and utilize the next few days to determine whether or not a premium membership will help me in my ultimate goal for success as opposed to going it alone. Also if anyone knows if the program helps with setting up a blog as your website please let me know. Thanks.

First thing I want to do is get started on my web page. I've probably built 1000 in my 90 years, but things keep changing so fast, I can't always keep up with them.

My goal for today is to take the knowledge that I've learned from the video in lesson 1 and try to apply it. I know I should be more goal orientated and I will try harder to make clear goals. And I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be apart of Wealthy Affiliate
Hello @Tina119, and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. You are going to love it here, and you're definitely going to learn a lot. Just remember to take it one day at a time, one lesson at a time. Don't skip any lessons. Believe me; they'll all fall into place. Don't be so hard on yourself, if you're not someone that sets goals, you're not goal-oriented; it's ok. You'll get it, you'll get into the habit of doing that. They say habits take time to develop. Hope all this makes sense. Feel free to reach out. Good luck with your new journey.

Asking questions working 4-6 hours a day, everyday, and see where it gets me. Motivation is here, interest is here, dedication is on par or better. I will have a lot of questions, and am not afraid to ask any and ALL questions, as I am sure others may be thinking the same thing or not even know they needed to think about it. I am not shy about asking for help/advice.
