Is There Something I Missed?
This morning about a third of the kids on one of our school busses got off the bus looking like this...
I'll admit it was a little unnerving!
One of the girls said there was a virus going around, and her parents made her wear the surgical mask.
I thought about how several children had thrown up at school recently. They usually don't make it to the bathroom, either. That's apparently a skill acquired later in their development!
I considered waiting for the busses tomorrow looking like this...
But, I figured the powers that be might not appreciate my sense of humor.
Two days to stay healthy before Christmas break starts!

Apparently this is going to be a tough flu season. Keep washing your hands and keep them off the little munchkins.

Boy, the kids are all over me, Deb. I do wash my hands often, though. That's the best I can do, 'cause we have a lot of kids that need hugs every day. :)
Please don't make it a habit to get sick during Christmas holidays (I well remember your last year...lol) Praying for you and the kids at school.:))
Was I sick last Christmas? I tend to forget crummy stuff. It's a blessing! Thanks, Vera! :))
I do remember your being not friends with the stairs in your daughter's home, maybe a little after Christmas. :))
Things were just starting to go around here when the schools here went on break for the holidays last Friday. I hate this time of year because even if I don't go out, I catch what everyone else drags home (whether they get sick or no). Such is life with an immunodeficiency.
Maybe I should wear the second mask?

Those bugs seem to be doing the rounds at the moment Rick, stay happy and healthy and best wishes for that Christmas break.
Love it Rick, it makes my grin at the thought of trying to get my boys to wear one of those for a 'school bug' back in the day! Try your choice of mask on the next non-uniform day? Sue :)
LOL. Very funny Rick.
Have a great day! They say laughter is the best medicine and I am sure this will keep that doctor away.

I can just see you in that mask Rick, but is it to stop you from getting sick or to scare the poor wee mites so they won't come anywhere near you lol.
I take it though that you have managed to stay safe and not succumbed to whatever it was that was going about. at the school. xxx
