Wow I didn't know Google Docs could do this!
So I recently started using Google Docs for writing blog posts. Both for Wealthy Affiliate and my own upcoming blog (more on this in a future blog). But today I noticed something new. Maybe I am the last person on earth to know, but it totally blew me away.Voice Typing!
Actually this whole blog has been written by using voice typing. And it worked surprisingly well for me. I just had to get used to specific commands such as saying “delete” when I wanted to delete the last word typed (In the beginning this was a lot :-)) But now words as “period” and “new line” is part of my new office lingo. Only drawback is that my better half is starting to look strange at me when sitting in my office talking to my computer.
This feature is however a real game changer for me, as I work most effective when I can just speak my thoughts instead of thinking about how to write them down.
What about you folks? Did you know that google docs had this feature? (activate it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+S). And if so, what do you think about it. Do you use it?
Now Google Docs - “Go make coffee”.. Darn they haven't implemented that yet :-)
