Hello. I just wanted to share that I created my website today and I'm super excited about the prospects of hanging my very own affiliate links all over the place. I noticed something, however. I was directed to wordpress cms. I first thought something was wrong but the site address was proof I was on the right path. Well, not having much luck on wordpress like I have enjoyed on wix or namecheap's website builder where my first site is hosted. I can't say I'm glad about this development. Should I be worried? Or should I have faith? Was it because of the theme I selected? I wanted something eCommerce looking (I build my sites myself) but I feel lost in wordpress most times. Any advice for this starter-level front-end developer?

Well done, Cashimear!

Jeff

Thank you.

You're very welcome!

Awesome, you are doing awesome man! Nice work. ;)

Thanks Kyle. I appreciate.

Good going so far welldone.
But whats the reason that you feel lost in wordpress?

Navigating around it. In other cms, I simply choose a theme and rely on my choices to get the best pictures and content up. On wordpress I can't navigate around it. I had a site there once and it waan't hard to do then but now, it seems harder.

I know the feeling, when wordpress do their updates it kinda throws me off balance with it abit, what I did that might help you and myself if I research it again.

Is to simply find some good Youtube tutorials on how to use wordpress. (Its a reminder for myself aswell come to think of it).

Thanks. I'll find some.
