If I can do it, you can do it!
This morning I received my one year Membership Badge when I opened my WA account. Yay! I came to WA a year ago with a diverse background in healthcare, case management, business, and freelance writing. While I had expertise in these areas, I had no experience building websites and doing affiliate marketing, but was determined to gain that expertise here. So I started from square one, quickly became a Premium Member, and have followed the training, all of which has helped me reach this point.
No, this past WA year was "not" problem-free. I had multiple theme issues, plugin issues, social media challenges, and more. But, I was quick to look for solutions, searching for answers in the WA search toolbar or asking questions of the experts here, or plugging into discussions, or to Live Chat. Also, very helpful has been making time to attend Jay's Live Training sessions or the replays. So much valuable information is here, we just need to tap into it! Are you taking advantage of all that we have here?
So, my purpose for writing this post is simply to encourage anybody new or struggling to follow the training and to ask for help when you need it and to keep paying it forward.
Wishing you a productive WA week! :)

Thanks for the encouragement! Us newbies need this as we go through the disappointments and frustrations while we're learning.
How well I know, Pamela! That's why I wrote it. There's a lot to learn. Some days it seems like the high tide has come in and totally submerged us in water. Then the next day after we have figured things out, it feels like the high tide has gone back out to sea and we can breathe better again :)
Keep hanging in there!!

congrats colleen, I've only been at this for a month and I can relate to some of the challenges. It's a whole new world to me, but I appreciate reading posts like these because they help me see further down the 'line' of life. Congrats again!
Thank you, Steven! I know how it is to encounter obstacles. It can get a bit challenging if they all hit at once or if you were hoping to complete some things by a certain date, but that's where the community support and expertise becomes so valuable!
Hi Colleen,
It sounds a lot like you and I have had a similar past. I worked in the healthcare field for 28 years. I've worked as a medical assistant, manager and completed my bachelor's in Healthcare Management. Now I'm a teacher for a Medical Academy. I am learning a lot here and wanted to say congratulations on your 1 year anniversary.
Hi Karen...it does sound like we have similar backgrounds. That means you're ready for this challenge and the adventures ahead. :) If I can be of help, let me know. :)
I agree Coleen. WA is indeed an excellent base to work from, and encouragement helps everyone.
Derek
Very true, Derek! WA is such a helpful community that it greatly decreases our challenges compared to how it would be if we were not part of WA.
Thank you, Nadezda! I've started on Level 5 and hope to complete that in the next few weeks too. Have you done Bootcamp?
Thanks Colleen. I too have been fraught with lots of challenges, some of which you have mentioned. We both know that we have to keep going, face these challenges, look for the answers and move on!
Happy Anniversary!!
Thank you, Mary Ann! You are absolutely right! We are too determined to succeed to curl up in the corner and stop. That just won't happen! :)
How true, it's important to reach out and get the help you need, and at some point in time we all need a helping hand. Thanks, Deanna
Thank you, Deanna! Yes, with so many experts around here, if I can't find the answer in my own search efforts, I'm quick to ask for help. :)
