Any Google Guides here at Wealthy Affiliate?
So I was wondering if there are any other Google Local Guides here at Wealthy Affiliate? I kinda stumbled upon it by accident.
When we went to visit my daughters college I seemed to have unlocked the tracking feature on my phone, so all of my photos that I took that day automatically went to to Google Local Guide page.
Long story short, I have been adding my beach photos regularly for the last month and have even been given the number one and number two pictures on the Google Map page for a couple of the beaches here in San Diego.
Here is North Ponto Beach and when you look for this beach in Google Maps, my picture comes up! So far I have almost 3500 views in about 5 weeks.
Or this one-Grandview Beach has over 2600 in 3 weeks as it is the number two picture that comes up in Google Maps.
So, my question is, how to I take advantage of this? I have written about both beaches before but not using the appropriate keywords.
Would it be advantageous for me to make seperate posts, one concentrating on North Ponto Beach and another one just for Grandview Beach?
I hope this makes sense! I have only been here for 5 months so I am still learning.

I like contributing to Google Local Guide. I have been doing it for a few months and I'm already at level 5. Jay @magistudio has mentioned it a couple of times in his webinars for local marketing. You can use that as a tool for attracting local traffic to your site, "as long as you play by Google's rules" :)

You will have to sign up to Quora to get this answer, and you can use Google+ or FB.
Thinking about it, I would use Google+ but you can do either or both I reckon.

I am a Google Local Guide! If you create a business "brand account" with the same account as you are a local guide with, Google will offer you a dot.business.site address. The plus to this is when you share your local guides stuff to google plus, your posts automatically show on your site as well. You can also embed your social or site link on any domains you manage here. Hope that answers your question.

Its an awesome addition to your social networks. Plus you can get pictures of business related stuff more easily posted on Google Search and Google Maps!!
