Google Adsense approved my application

After a week or so Google Adsense finally accepted my application. I don t know if I should be happy or sad.
in one breath i would like to earn the 68 cents per click but in the other I fear that it may cheapens my site as I have seen and heard.
Finally I will now need to learn how to apply them on relevant pages/ post.
