Time to really write some content!
I'v recently built a new blog, in a new niche, but need to get focused on creating content. So to start getting committed to this task, am committing to creating a 500 article on some aspect of my blog every day for the next five days.
At the end of the five days, I will create a plan for some more blog subjects.
Creating content is the most important part of building the blog, as a blog is not a blog without content!
Creating content gets the users visiting your blog. That is it!
Create content, create content ( I'm psyching myself up. Clean and jerk!)

Consistently posting good content is key to getting traffic. Great goal and writing a post with more than 500 words can help attract even more visitors.
Thanks Lynn. I know that if I shoot for 500 words I am definitely going to achieve more than that but a target of 1000 sounds daunting! Typically a post should be in excess of 1000 words to get good traffic

I sometimes find myself procrastinating when I should just sit and write - focus is so important to produce quality, regular blog posts.

Hello Colin, I am glad to read something from you again. Personally, I don't believe in quantity of content, but in the quality of the content and in the kind of message you have to share. But online you have to know how to create visibility and hunger to your niche.
