WordPress sends me this exciting notification telling me that i have new members that are signing up on my website. although It only gives me their username and email. No comme
It's spam. They are not real people they are just bots trolling around looking for websites they can hack.
Sounds like you need to delete those accounts, and then go to Settings and uncheck the box that says "Anyone can register".
You can look for more info if you search for "spam user registration" or something in the search bar above, or even PM @RICH if you want because I know he is very familiar with it. Essentially you need to do what I said, uncheck the box that says"Anyone can register". Here's one search result, but most all say the same thing. A new user registration notification my website?

I'm sorry now what is the link supposed to be helping me with? Will this help me locate where these people are from or what or should I just not bother with it and move on
You are getting spam. You need to uncheck that box or you will keep getting it. Don't worry about those people because they are not real.

Yes, It is spam linked to a trojan be very careful or things will start shutting down delete all of the emails.
