Here's the link to the article . It's above my knowledge level when it talked about machine learning and how it's going to revolutionize everything. Can someone with a lot more knowledge on Google read this & dumb it down so I can understand if this is something I need to worry about??

Cindy (banging her head on current Google stuff)

This is geared towards having better data to be able to see which customers, from which devices are taking certain actions, or the behaviours you choose.

Google Adwords is constantly evolving with new features and I feel that the more complex they get, the more expertise you need simply to use their ad platform.

It can be a catch 22 having "too much" data and granular information, I see people getting lost in it and making sense out of data that they have no business doing so (which ultimately can do more harm than good).

This is another evolution in Google's PPC platform, Adwords, something that we have seen a great deal of in the last 5-6 years particularly.

Cindy, when it comes to stuff like this; Always listen to Kyle and Carson!

Yes I agree it is sometimes stressful to know too much but not enough. Yet it is sometimes prudent to ask those who know if we need to seek the knowledge. Ignorance is not always bliss. LOL or in my case ignorance of the law was never an excuse when I prosecuted someone. HA HA HA!

I was reading what Kyle and Craig said. I agree with both. I think the best is still to concentrate on a site with quality and good placed ads.

I am a great example of "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing."
I was starting to get a grasp on GA, but not in-depth knowledge and I started to obsess over things like traffic, where it was coming from, etc. I focused too much attention on it, and got paranoid about... everything.

Now I keep a healthy distance from analytics. I might look once a week to get the overall traffic trend, but that's it. To me, it's just another distraction.
