Should we create a brand domain name or a keywords domain name? In what situation should we choose from these two type?

I recommend choosing a domain name that fits your niche...

If your site was about drones, something like dronedojo.com, etc.

let's say "car". Is a very big niche with high competition keyword. How would u create a domain base on it? need to stuff some other keywords?

Ok, if your niche is about cars, have you narrowed it down to a specific type or for a specific use? Cars in general is way too road of a niche.

After i narrow it down and make a own brand domain. Should i concentrate on this website like 50 post or should i create more minisite of this type. May i know your suggestion?

I suggest you post a minimum of 2 quality posts a week. 3 would be better but quality and consistency are what's most important.

So is better to focus in one big website than minisites for me as a beginner?

It's best to narrow your niche so that you're talking to a targeted audience looking for the same thing (think hot rods vs just cars). Hot rods is a narrower focus. Build your site around your narrower focus. If you want to go several directions then build separate sites focused on each.

Hmm...ok..got it. Let me rethink again. Scott, thank you for your guidance.

Any time.

If by brand, you mean a trademark name, then no. Examples such as Nike or Apple are copyrighted. If if you are creating your own brand, that's fine. Keywords in a domain name are not seen to be as important as they were, it's the actual content in your articles that gets you ranked in Google.

I'm referring to creating a brand of our own. Yah, in long term keywords in content plays a bigger role than the domain name itself. Thank you for your advise.

Should we build a many minisites or concentrate on building one big niche site?

I recommend one strong niche site - you will learn a lot!

Looks like another blog to bookmark. Thanks for the question, without it we wouldn't have Davids insight. Excellent all round. Thank you.

David's insight really blew my mind off. I still have a lot of things to learn from everyone here. Let's learn and practice together.
