New Mini Milestone - YouTube Subscribers
I just went to YouTube to reply to a comment I got there, and I realized that I hit 101 subscribers!
Obviously, that's not a huge amount, but that's why it's a MINI milestone, people. :)
What's really dumb is that I haven't posted a video in forever.
I really want to get back on YouTube and create a consistent posting schedule. I kind of feel held back by my equipment, but I know that that shouldn't stop me. (Also, I'm an introvert and I like writing way better than talking.)
I even think I found a neat (and big and popular) niche that I've been squeezing myself into in Facebook groups! I feel like these are my people and it's been a lot of fun so far!
I'm going to work that in to YouTube too, and we'll see what happens.

A Mini Update
While we're doing mini stuff, I thought I'd give you a mini update on my traffic situation.
If you remember, Google was not really ranking anything that I wrote.

Well, we're finally moving back in the right direction.
My clicks for this month are already more than they were for all of September.
Will this uptrend continue?
Only time will tell!

This is mostly thanks to Dylan's MLM strategy. Thank you, Dylan! I'm hoping my visitors will explode in the same way as his eventually.

I also prefer reading to watching videos. Well, I guess it depends. I do like some YouTube content too. But I have to be doing something when I watch them - like laundry, walking, cooking etc. I can't just sit down and watch them.

I'll also offer you some encouragement. You know that I'm in the same situation as you, attempting an MMO site and just waiting for the website traffic burst.
Well, 3 days ago, Google put one of my new articles at position one for that keyword. My traffic in 5 days went 87, 114, 243, 1,237, 1,277. While I'm stoked to be getting over 1K per day in traffic, it's all coming from this 1 article.
But also understand that once Google recognizes that my visitors are reading my content (roughly 1 minute duration on page with 1% bounce rate), they could boost my other pages. I really hope this is the case. Just hope this is the start of something big.
For your info, another 4 days and I'll be 15 months into this site.
So keep plugging away and you'll also get this boost.
PS: I'm also getting a giggle out of watching dots and colors popping up on my Analytics!

It's only a scam website Christina, nothing special. I've done heaps of these so don't know why this one got the treatment it did. I'll take it though, but it may only get searched until it disappears and another replica of the site pops up. This is my concern.
Anyway, if my traffic continues and this is the start, I'll blog about it.
I wonder what the trigger was that got you that top spot? Who knows with Google, right?

Hi Christina, I think it’s awesome to see your traffic going back in the right direction.
I still feel I’m not ready for YouTube...and I do know that eventually I need to go in that direction as well.
At the moment I am trying to improve my social network presence and grow my email list.

I don't know if you NEED to do YouTube, but I know it's a good source of traffic. So I guess it just depends what you want to focus your time on.

Every milestone - even mini ones - are a sign that you are making progress. I think its worth a celebration - even a mini one!
Thanks, I think so too! We have to celebrate all the steps in the process.
I also think it helps people to see that you don't immediately go from $0 to super success. There's a path along the way...

I am so happy for you, I don't think I will be making a video soon I am an introvert and have a Caribbean accent I am very conscious of it, some people have a problem understanding me,
I am an introvert too, so I get it! I bet your accent sounds so awesome! You shouldn't let that stop you. You can also use subtitles so that people can read if they are having trouble understanding.
