Affiliate Marketing Equals Free Money?

Free is a bit of a strong word. Nothing is truly free.

However, there is something awesome about affiliate marketing.

I have a website that I put up in December of last year. It has 9 posts on it.

And I did some pins for Pinterest for each of the posts. That's it.

I haven't looked at it in months.

And yet, it's been making me money.

It's not thousands of dollars. Certainly nothing to write home about. But it consistently brings in a little here and there.

Last month it made $30 from a program that I promote on there and $10 in Amazon sales. I know I'll get at least $15 from it this month.

And I haven't done a thing with it since April. Can you imagine if I actually worked on it consistently?

I have to be honest and say that I haven't been doing a great job with working on my main site either. I have been really distracted lately...

I only put out 2 blog posts last month. But, yet, I had my best month ever in July!

This is the power of affiliate marketing. The work that you put in now continues to pay off later.

So while it's not exactly "free" money because of the work that you initially put in, it's as close as you're going to get.

(It's that elusive passive income that everyone is looking for...)

Haha, not really. I'm working on a new blog post for my main site, but hibernating does sound nice! :)
