Using Google WILL get you on the FIRST Page
Keep in mind that I have a total of 15 visitors to my website. I sent in my sitemap two weeks ago and just added my first affiliate link a couple of days ago. I'm not sure of the date I registered my Google+ account but it was obviously around the third week of May. I then posted one blog per day until they were all posted on each of my social media accounts except LinkedIn. On May 21st the fourth blog I posted was shared by one of my new followers.
This evening I googled one of the keyword phrases for that post and this is what was on the middle of the FIRST page:

I
Should we be sharing one of each other's posts when we follow each other on Google+? It worked for me, and I have no idea who Mr. Rudraksh Brahmapuri is. Now I just need to write more content and have some decent affiliate links. Almost ready to push traffic daily.

Just one thing you have to be aware of when it is G+ posts that shows up in the google search. This might very well be because you are loged in to your G+ account. I have made this mistake myself and found out that once I logged out of my G+ account the post was no longer showing up on first page.
Hope this is not the case for you, but still better to check so you know for sure if that is the case - better to know the truth right:-)
All the best,
Mikael
I will check. But if that is the case it is a good reason to stay logged in. Maybe it is the person who shared it that is logged in. But I still wonder if we should be sharing each other's GPlus posts?
Sharing G+ posts can help a bit.
But staying logged in will not make a difference. It just means that the search results that will show up for YOU will be affected by that. Like the search results can be affected by what you have previously googled. But it will not affect the general results for other people. To get an idea about what results other people would see, you would need to do a search in incognito mode.
Incognito wasn't so fortunate as you said, but I am curious if all my followers would see it. That is a start.
And content. I'm ready as soon as I get a couple of good affiliates linns and I just found a GREAT one.
