HELP - Mailchimp & Wordpress - Pulling my hair out

Can anyone help me, I'm climbing the walls here. I have a mailchimp account with a list of 1300 subscribers. I have installed the MailChimp plugin and I have installed the API key into wordpress and it's been accepted ok. I am now trying to create my first email sign up form, but my subscriber list is not showing in Word press. Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

I've just gone into Wordpress to deactivate Mailchimp and what do I find???? My subscriber list has now appeared !!!!

Your subscriber list is stored at MailChimp unless you also stored it on your computer. I use Excel for my lists.

MailChimp seems to be very hard to use for free members.

You would think they would do everything to get you up and running and then you would see the benefit of upgrading.

Post it on live chat ..someone can help u

Gee Clare...when I read your title I was hoping I could help, but you just taught me something new! Had no idea a subscriber list could be managed from wordpress. Good luck finding a fix. I'm playing with free SumoMe & free Mailchimp at the mo, will let you know if its the answer.

Thanks. Think I need to change tactic lol :)

I am not using Mailchimp so I wouldn't really know why you have this issue ... Have you tried contacting the Mailchimp support team?

1

You would think that would be an easy thing to do, but I can't find anyway to contact them, they only have a support link for premium members. What are you using?

1

That's a way to make people go premium, so unfair!
I heard good things about MailChimp but if you can't even contact their support team as a free member I think they are maybe not worth it...
I am using Aweber and I linked it to Sumome.
I have a paid subscription for Aweber but Sumome's free account has great features and linked together, it does the job just great.
I can easily follow up all new and existing subscribers directly from my website.
Good luck and keep us updated!

Thanks think I'll try that instead. I must have wasted about 2 hours yesterday. Ended up leaving it alone, as I was going crazy :-)
