I retired early with 27 years from AT&T as a services tech. I drove a commercial van, installed and repaired phone lines and DSL in businesses and residences I also installed routers and networked computers. I climbed poles and extension ladders, crawled under houses and in attics, and was on my knees working on phone jacks and running wire. The job had many mental and physical challenges. I liked it when I started, but with time and rapid advances in technology the hours and management became grouling, not to mention the physical wearing of my body with weather, and straining. I would say it kept me in shape and built character. Over the years it got to be tiring and the hours were horrible. Idecided it was time to retire and go for something I could do into the rest of my life. I left on my 27 year aniversity, and started school three days later to become a Cardiovascular Sonographer. While in school I found out that medicare came up with a new rule that they would no longer pay for tests performed by a non registered ultrasound tech. Technicians that have been doing the job for years were getting let go, because they could not pass the test. It is hard to get a job in my state because of all of the schools that are cranking out 22 plus techs twice a year, and you cannot get hired unless you have your registry and experience. How do you get a job to get experience, if you have to be registeered to get a job? It took me a year and a half to take and pass my registry exam, but I only have my externship experience. I have since found out from others in the field that the job is hard on the sonographers body due to the pressure required, on certain body types, in order to get the pictures needed. Also, they are being over worked and expected to do more exams.
I would love to work from home, where I can take my dogs to the park in the afternoon and be there with them and my cat. I can see me working on the internet far into my years, as opposed to doing ultrasound under the harsh environment that is expected of them.
I love my pets, my friends, people, animals, walks in the park, hiking, movies, books/my Kindle, etc., and will try just about anything once. The feeling I get is that this is going to be a tremendous experience an i'm looking forward to it. I have spent lots of money and it did not work. I hesitate to say I was scammed, because I learned from it. Luckily, I found someone on line that explained to people like me that have been banging our heads onthe PC trying to find something that will help. He lead me to this site, and I am thankful. Thanks Ian!

I just wanted to drop by really fast and let you know I’m here to help you if you need anything. I recommend starting with the Online Entrepreneur Training which can be found at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-getting-started-level-1

I don’t recommend programs lightly, and I hope you find Wealthy Affiliate as useful as I hoped when I recommended it to you. I don’t think you’ll find another program that sets you up better for success. I pay for a premium membership as well not because I need it, but because I believe Kyle and Carson have put together a product that deserves to be supported and $47 for the value they’re adding to new affiliate marketers is something I proudly support.

Let me know if you need anything along the way!
