Free Teleprompter for YouTube Scripts
If you like using a script when recording YouTube videos, you may be struggling to find a natural way to do that.
Some people buy an expensive teleprompter from which they can read the script, but that is not necessary.
There is a very easy and free way to get to read your YouTube scripts and notes while recording without interrupting the flow.
In this short video I will show you the trick I use to record my videos with scripts easily.
Hope you like it and please leave any comments or questions below.

Love it Mikael... any helpful tips and advice I can right now are very useful indeed my friend! :-)
Good morning Mikael,
Thank you for the helpful tip, it's appreciated.
I like the idea of being able to look straight at the camera without having to turn your head, etc. I have three monitors on my desktop computer, so I normally but my notes in the right-hand monitor, this does mean that I have to glance at the screen, which isn't always ideal.
Have a great day and keep the tips coming.
Roy
Thanks Roy. 3 screens sounds amazing. But yes you still have to glance to the side and for me it is a lot more effective if I can just keep looking straight and keep recording as its flows better. So that is what I have started to do and wanted to share it.
It's a pleasure, Mikael!
Yes, I couldn't agree with you more, Mikael! I could probably fit my phone below the monitor, in that way, I'm looking straight at the screen, without having to turn my head.
When I first purchased by desktop computer, nearly 5 years ago, I purchased two 27-inch monitors, I found the extra monitor so useful that I purchased a third monitor. It really is so helpful and really increases productivity, I believe.
Have a great day,
Roy
Hello Nick,
It may kind of seem extravagant, but it's so useful, Nick, it really helps to make life easier. I find myself using all three monitors, probably 75% of the time.
Even for something as simple as a Zoom meeting, I can have Zoom in my main screen, the notes that go with the Zoom meeting on another screen and the third screen, to look up other references, etc! It may seem like overkill, but it's just so useful.
I'm learning Greek at the moment, which we are actually doing on Skype, but once again, it's so useful to have different monitors available for routine tasks.
Even the regular tasks like creating a YouTube video, it's great being able to drag across from one monitor to the other, etc and for doing research, etc. I can definitely recommend three monitors. Apparently, my Dell workstation has the capacity for four monitors, I'm not sure where the fourth monitor would go though!!
Have a great weekend, Nick and thank you for commenting.

Can't disagree with that Roy! We all must do what works best for us at the end of the day!
Personally.... I still struggle with one screen!!!

This is very helpful! I actually invested in a teleprompter but wish I had thought of this before.
I was very close to investing in one but had some space issues in my office, so then I tested this, and it works very well.
