Hello everyone. I have missed the past 3 days for my Song of the Day..(You can thank me later)… ;-)
As the few of you that read my previous Song Of The Day posts will know, I had to leave town for a bit of work. Because of that I haven’t had a chance to post or work on my lessons at WA for the past 3 days.
I have however; found time to read others posts, questions and information sharing and throw in my usual 2 cents worth of responses here and there.
One thing that has stood out to me this past week of reviewing various posts from others is the importance that has been offered up here at WA for friendship, sharing, love and support! I am truly amazed at some of the responses here speaking about the significance of these simple but ever so important things in life. It has brought back a renewed faith in me. I had become so pessimistic with everything going on, from politics, others who have different opinions or lifestyles to personal conflicts or experiences in general that not everyone can directly relate to.
This is not a pretty picture!
When I see there are others that care, it reminds me there is hope!

A Psychiatrist friend once said to me when I was down and out and almost paralyzed from sadness...He said "Shit happens, soooo, now what are you going to do about it?" He shrugged his shoulders when he said it to me. It hit me like a ton of bricks! I wasn't sure if I should be offended or not. At the time I was expecting at least a little sympathy. I didn't get it! Whaat? For some odd reason, I did not feel offended or upset. I was just stunned and speechless but his what I deemed profound statement to me made me think. That was many years ago and I have never forgotten those words (obviously, as I'm quoting them here today).
He was right! Stuff does happen to all of us!
Sometimes you just gotta roll with it! I'm not saying it is always easy to do BUT, sometimes.........................

Anyway, I'm feeling like getting out of my rocking chair tonight! and Just Roll with it!
