Landing in London, Music Icons Leaving Us and All I Think About!
This year has been a doozy for me in terms of musical icons passing away. Della Reese, Tom Petty, Malcome Young, even David Cassidy and recently Mel Tillis! Come on! They will NEVER be replaced as far as I am concerned! I know I am leaving a few more out as well. Sad, Sad! RIP!
I reflect on this because I have always considered them part of my "Traveling Buddies". I have done quite a bit of traveling for my work and still seem to be doing a fair amount of it today. When traveling I listen to everything from the downright cheesy to the downright weird! But I do have my repatoire of old classics that dominate my space in the car.
Lots of you here travel I know for work. Many of you share your journeys with us. Some posts contain inspirational and motivational quotes, complete with visuals. I love them!
Since music happens to be my inspiration and a universal language as well, I like to share it when I am feeling particularly inspired.
One of my favorits songs, not so new but not so old is "Landing in London" 3 Doors Down with Bob Seger chiming in!
I had the priviliege of seeing Seger live in the late 70's with his white tight pants and his beautiful raspy vocals! Looking back, being in my teens at the time made it all the better. Can you say "Night Moves"? Hopefully he will remain with us for a good while longer.
"Turn the Page"
These days I think about lots of other things. My 2 boys, my border collies (Molly and Lucy), my chickens, ducks and unkempt garden that needs tending. Mostly, I think about my future (which includes all the above) and how can I expand upon what I have for all the above. These are the things that keep me going, keep me working, keep me on the road! For now! And mostly what keeps me plowing away at ideas about building my website/s.

I have not seen you for awhile, I hope you are doing ok.
You mention your garden. I always have a lot to do at this time of the year. The geraniums which have grown to sometimes 1-meter high need to be cut. Other plants which have gone wild replanted as well. I am halfway so still a lot to do. I try to stick to my timetable of publishing on Mondays, not always easy as writing Christmas cards and other activities get in the way. It would have been better to only have 1 website but one does not know that when starting. A story I wrote has been published on an American travel site so that was nice, I am sending you the link.

Thanks Taetske! I've started a small herb garden indoors where I am now! I can bring it back home with me when I leave again. The rest will have to wait. I look forward to the spring for the rest of the flowers and plants.

I love working on skincare website..It makes me happy and I think about it but mostly I think about my Son who is Turning 21 Tomorrow...Sunday!!
Awesome! Those are actually big milestones! Especially the son turning 21! Definitely something to be thinking about all the time! Congrats and Happy Birthday to your son!

I have to go through hoops to get anywhere in U tube Cindy, Because streaming media both audio and visual is so darned spam prone I have security layers that all but stifle it!

Great share Cindy and there is much truth in the relationship between travel and music.
Begrudgingly, I recently moved to Spotify at my daughter's recommendation and while travelling I was able to research when rock truly changed (1969) and if the Beetles or Rolling Stones were a bigger impact (Stones). Who knows and who cares if I am right but you know what, it allowed me to drift while driving.
