How to Create Killer Content Quickly

Today, I'd like to share one of my best content creation strategies. I'm going to discuss how to create killer content quickly.
I learned about this idea by accident. After studying hundreds of successful blogs, I noticed something a few of them were doing consistently.
It's known as content curation. According to Wikipedia, "Content curation is the process of gathering information relevant to a particular topic or area of interest, usually with the intention of adding value. Services or people that implement content curation are called curators. Curation services can be used by businesses as well as end users."
Basically, you write an 800 to 1,200 word post about a specific topic. Then what you do is find 5-10 blogs or authors you can cite. By doing so, you will easily add another 1,000 to 2,000 words to your own article. Plus, it will make your content more interesting.
To clarify, I am not saying steal their content and call it your own. Instead, I am saying to cite the author and link back to their website.

Here's a couple examples of how I recently did this on my own blog.
This article literally took me less than 90-minutes to do. What I did was cite 10 experts on Instagram lead generation, quoted a paragraph or two from each person, and added it to my blog.
How to Get Leads with Pinterest
I know very little if anything at all about Pinterest, but I do know that it is a popular way for some companies and marketers to find leads. So what did I do? I spent about 45-minutes online by searching for "How to Get Leads with Pinterest" and I found 10 different experts who each shared multiple tips. I then compiled that information into my own post and added a few of my own words.
Curating content is so easy to do. You can easily create epic blog posts in 1-3 hours.
Plus, there is another value added benefit. When you link back to another website, they will typically get a "trackback" notification. As a result, they will more than likely reciprocate the link to your website. In either case, it's a win-win.
