Sorry Chrystopher... somehow I missed this... I have no idea what the question was. Sorry
Richard.
No worries Richard, all of the questions/ideas are linked to from within the post, but these results were specifically from this one Donations - Marketing Ideas Research
Wow...100% said they would consider donations....thats amazing...
With awareness new things come to light. How cool is that?
I think donations are important, especially if you sell physical products, like I do. Although I have an ecommerce website, I also vend my products up and down the west coast (US). Since covid, there are no social vending events, and only a few virtual vending ops. Then you fsll prey to 'out of sight, out of mind mentality.
Giving away something or reading for an email, is kind of donating, too.
Fundraisers are a common way to raise money, and by being willing to donate a product to help a cause is beneficial to all involved. Plus, you remind people that you are out there...
Just my thoughts about the matter...grin.
Very true Rudy and I do agree with you, it's just a shame that only 11 members responded to this one, which is less than half of the business cards idea, so the results might not be entirely accurate.
True, and members might only be responding to ideas that they use or are open to, rather than to all ideas :-) Surveys always have a flaw haha
Interesting information! I recently started adding donation buttons to some of my sites. I'll see how it works out for the first couple, then maybe add on others.
When you asked the questions about donations I assumed you meant that I would use my money or my businesses money to donate to some cause. I hadn't considered you might mean soliciting donations from website visitors.
I have a .org domain I registered with the idea of a site dedicated to safeguarding our 2nd amendment right to bear arms.
I could solicit donations for that purpose and each donate would receive raffle tickets the number of tickets depending upon the amount of the donation. Winner gets a special edition collector firearm.
No, I did mean it as you thought, I.e. You use your money or money from your business to make a donation. The comment from Diane is a new one for me, and awaiting confirmation :-)
