So, I`m going to do this without feeling shy.
How do you guys feel about changing the direction of a niche? let's say from dog food to dog breeding
Or
Using public transport to ............let`s see, using Trains and taxis. I`m not sure if it makes sense, just a slight change in the niche direction. Create Fresh money pages, something close enough to my present niche site.

I`m asking because I struggle with my 4-year-old Niche site. It was and is still really narrow and I feel like I have just outgrown the site (let`s be honest, I outgrew the site within 1 week because I changed my mind about the niche).
I think I can change direction, but, how bad will it affect my site?

I'm wondering a couple of things. Is the too-narrow niche part of the domain name, would that get messed up? And how much traffic do you get on your site?

I really think that if your niche is too nichey, then a good idea is to expand it to cover more related stuff.

Thanks, I`m not sure what I was thinking, the niche is so narrow it`s crazy, but I think I`ll try that out. I`ve thought about it but got scared.

It sounds like a natural transition to make it wider on the topic. I think it will all work out just fine, especially with that much history with Google.

Hey, a quick question, my country's currency is currently the only story in town, black market is dominating our currency vs USD, so I need a plugin, or a method that allows me to just input the rates, and to automatically adjust on my homepage in a visually appealing form?

If you are adding a 3rd parties affiliate link, it is recommended not to list prices anyway, as the price of products/services can change constantly. If you are selling your own products, and you are doing this via WooCommerce, you can set your own currency, as well as displaying in multiple currencies with an addon to WooComerce.

The website concept is just to show the currency rate: x VS USD.

This is an example: https://lirarate.com/

The currency itself is fluctuating VS the dollar.

The monetization method is Google Adsense.

My competition: only 3 or 4 websites for a huge 500k daily searches of the currency rate.

Thanks a lot,
Marc.

Ahh ok, you don't want to covert your own prices, you want to offer a calculator for your visitors.

This guide might help you

https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-a-currency-converter-in-wordpress/

And the plugin they use is

https://wordpress.org/plugins/cbcurrencyconverter/

Although, it hasn't been updated for 2 months and hasn't been tested with WordPress 5.5

I guess I am now in the right direction.

Appreciate it Chrystopher!

Marc.

You're welcome Marc :-)

Hi Chrystopher. It's been a while.

When I look at my newly published post on my mobile, I have to clear my cache before it appears.

That's fine for me....but what about my readers?

My question: does this mean that they won't see my new post on their mobile unless they clear their cache too? And if so, how can I resolve this?

Okay ...2 questions.

Wishing you and WA tribe a Wonder Filled Day.

It will only be because you have visited your website yourself, so it will cache the pages/posts for you to speed up surfing. A new vistor will be just that, new, and therefore no cache to clear. They will also be finding the post directly via a Google Search etc, so it is very unlikely that they will visit your homepage to then look for the post. The cache will update itself as time goes on and will not affect normal visitors.

Oh! That is good to hear. Many thanks to you! Such a speedy reply too. I appreciate that. Louise

In the song bohemian rhapsody, why is there four Galileo ? 🤔

And why does it then go to Figaro, what do they have to do with each other? I just read an article about that but it didn't explain why he included those names in the verse.

I' will do a little digging and see if i can get you an explanation. You might not get it till Sunday tho ! 🙂

Perhaps it had something to do with what they were ingesting at the time of the writing??
Searching for those rhyming words from any place possible, ...out there in the Universe?? LOL

OK. Here goes.

I had a fellow contact me early on when I started my blog, and he recommended I add my affiliate links to the pictures in my posts.

So if I have a product review for a particular supplement, it usually has a link attached to some text, like so:

==>Try Mind Lab Pro

There are no security risks if you are sending your visitors to approved and trusted sources for commissions etc. The link is visible if you hover your mouse over the image, or right-click the image and click copy target, or if you view the source code

Could someone copy the code and redirect the commission payments?

Should I scramble them with an app like bit.ly?

No one is going to do that and there's also no point to do it, however, you can hide your affiliate links using a plugin such as Pretty Links (I personally use the Redirection feature of Rank Math), as that also keeps track of the number of clicks. And means you only have one place to update a link should a link change that you have added to multiple locations.

OK. Thanks Chrýstopher.

Ok then, Chrystopher, and I hope you are listening so I don’t have to type it again. Are you ready? Here it is. Don’t forget to read it now so that I can turn my computer off. Ok, I am going to ask you before I use up all the white space on this page (I really love using the BLUF method)!

If you leave your cat on the side of the road is that what’s called kitty litter?

Thak Yu,
Frakn, or something like that ?? 🙃🤪😜

Exactly right Frank, no don't go kitty littering now will you, there's a hefty fine for that haha
