Happy--

Well, here I am once again. I’ve been with WA for about 11 days now and I’m really happy because I was given extra time to be a free member with premium perks. I not only have a chance to learn from the lessons and training, but I can ask questions, write blog posts within WA, post comments and thank those who follow me. That’s really awesome.

Game-plan change—

If you read my first blog post you’ll know that I have been working through the free lessons of the program. Well, I managed to pick a niche, which did take me a bit of thinking, and I completed reading through the lessons. In fact, I even have a name for my site; I’ll be targeting English learners. However, I decided to hold-off on making the website because I don’t want to create a free one and then have to go through the hassle of transferring it to my own domain once I go premium and purchase one. Also, I don’t want to have to wait a second time to get indexed by Google. So, I’ve decided to hold off for a bit.

Meanwhile, I’m going to take advantage of the days I have left before the special first month discount offer runs out, and go through the “Affiliate Bootcamp.”

I’m reading through the lessons and liking it more and more each day. I’m interested in targeting single parents with low incomes. So, I’ve decided I’m going to be creating two websites (at least to start off, who knows how many more in the future). One will be in the niche I’ve chosen and one will be promoting Wealthy Affiliate. So, that’s decided but I have a problem, a dilemma if you will…

Dilemma—

I have a dilemma. You are probably thinking: What could it be? Well, since I want to create two websites I need to choose which one I’m going to work on first.

I know I need to concentrate on one until it’s up and running, and it has a good amount of posts and traffic. So, I’ll be spending a good 6 months working on it but my goal is to be making some income by the end of 2017.

So, which site would be a better choice to start off with?

The make money online niche – Promoting Wealthy Affiliate

Pros

-It’s a program that practically sells itself

-I can help others find this wonderful program and start them on their way to earning a living online

-The commission paid to the affiliates is very high

-The potential for good earnings in a relatively short period of time is very real

Cons

- If someone reading my posts wants me to show proof that the program worked for me and wants to see that I have gotten results in a niche other than promoting the program itself, I have nothing to show unless I work on my other niche first. The only answer I could give is that I have another site under construction but that I wanted to focus on helping people find a better way to earn a living first.

My niche – pros and cons

Pros

- I’m interested in the subject and enjoy it

- I’m interested in helping non-English speakers to acquire the language

- I know a bit about it since I’ve been teaching and tutoring EFL for a few years

Cons

-It’s a niche where the products I can promote are basically courses, lessons and books which are not high ticket items.

- I will need to get many sales in order to make any income worth mentioning before the end of the year.

So, this is my dilemma. It’s something I’m really going to have to think about and something that I’m going to need help with because I have a tendency of overthinking things and if I do that before I know it half a year will be gone and I don’t want to waste time.

If anyone has any comments, ideas or advice I would really appreciate it.
