First 100 Subscribers - Yippee

This is going to be short. I was going to say "I am back folks", but couldnt since I come online regularly but just dont post. I am on a sabattical - its been seven years after all. So I am being monitored like a hawk to stop working hahaha. However, before the sabbatical I had promised myself that if I manage to cultivate my first 100 subscribers I will make a post, rain or shine. So here it is.

It has taken a bit of time but it is done. I never expected it so soon since I had only two subscribers after six months of my websites' launch. But suddenly in the last few months things ticked up. I can attribute this to these activities:

(1) regular blog posts every week - 500-700 word posts/landing pages. 2-3 times a week. And 1-2 1000-word articles every month. I have multiple sites mostly lead generation so this works.

(2) Improving content and on-site SEO practices like dynamic Schema implementation- needed a lot of help on this so hired a VA

(3) Social Media posts. I will say this, if you cant do it yourself, hire someone who can. My subscriptions started increasing when I started posting on social media platforms (hey, you guessed it, I had to hire someone when the sabbatical came along). Thanks to Roysin and a a few others here

(4) Listening to my coach. And attending webinars- I have attended so many- about ten in the last two months. I have learned so much- but the UPSELLS!!! Why do these smart aleck gurus upsell so much- each so expensive, usually $1K+ too. Without self control, some of them can convince you to sell your house and the clothing you have on you, my word. It is mindboggling how they do this brazenly during this time every year. Luckily I got as much info as I needed to improve myself withough purchasing anything.

Anyway, all of these have contributed to me having reached this stage. One very important fact though is that I havent sold an affiliate offer to my subscribers. Only providing resource for now (WA teaching). My plan is to do this for as long as is reasonable, next two months at least, and only promote affiliate offers of resources I have used first before branching out later.

Last point of note, and mostly derived from the webinars, the potential for online business is huge. I know I can scale and improve tremendously. This is indeed a business- I met millionairs doing this online stuff- amaziiing!! I have learened so much, so I can say I will continue with taking time to build the foundation, then I can go ham in the future. I like the slow as a turtle approach, the Wealthy Affiliate way.

On to making it, Wealthy Affiliate promotion, here I come.
