Morning/Afternoon/Evening WA Community,

I was reading a Post from @Newme202 dont-do-anything-im-only-venting and felt inspired to post this Blog.

The idea is (hopefully) for everyone to add a Book Title (or as many as they want) below, of a Book that has inspired them to make a difference in their life.

I don't mean you wake up on January 1st and pick up a book on New Year's Resolutions (we know how they always end up), but a Book that you have read the first chapter of and you are totally hooked. It hits you right in the gut that you; There and then decide you are going to make that change that sets you on the path to Financial Freedom. You are going to start that Affiliate Marketing Course or whatever it may be and it is all you can think about morning, noon & night.

Mine was:

From the Foreward to the very last page, I was well & truly hooked. I could not put the book down. It took me 4 days to read.

Now, to be perfectly honest, I have had this book for about 15 years (I bought it whilst I was doing a Management Course - it was one of the recommended books on the reading list) and tried on 3 or 4 occasions to read it. The last time was only 2 years ago. But always ended up giving up as I found it too difficult to read. It's written in Old English and, well, I got bored.

Fast Forward 15 Years and I thought; What the Hell, let's give it another go and "Blow & Behold", I could not put it down. Like I said. I read it in 4 days. "Old English or not.

The next book I read (this time I was on a Work Conference) and the speaker was one of these Motivational Speakers who has attended a Conference hosted by Scott Alexander. The Author of "Rhinoceros Success".

Now, if anyone has read this will know that it is a very Silly book, even a little Cheesy (well very Cheesy!), but that's what is so fantastic about this book. It lights a fire under you. Its purpose is to give you a framework for understanding that you need to charge through life and not stand by idle "Chewing the Cud", like the Cows (people content with watching the World Pass them By) out there.

Again, This book I finished in about 5 days and had a laugh on nearly every page. But it's another book that I know has made me re-evaluate my life, "Take the Bull/Rhino by the Horns and make a difference in my Life" as I know that no one else is going to and continue down the Path to Financial Freedom.

The third book that I recommend (which I read about 15 years ago after failing with "The Richest Man in Babylon") was Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

Again, this was a "Life-Changing, Eye-Opening" read for me. My then fiancé and I were talking about getting married (which we did) and buying a house together (and did) and I was at a stage in my life where I was earning an OK wage, but definitely not enough for the kind of lifestyle we wanted to live as a married couple.

After reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I changed job, began Investing in Stocks & Shares (not very well I might add) and invested in Myself, by going on ALL the Management courses that my New Workplace offered me and for many years, I was happy. I was earning good money, learning and enjoying life to the max.

Fast-forward several years and life changed drastically, on a personal level physically and mentally and everything came crashing down around me.

So, It's time to pick myself up, again. Re-invest in myself and MAKE THIS the Year (2022) that I FINALLY become Financially Free and live that Coveted "Work/Life Balance Dream".

Thanks so much for getting to this point and my hope is, that you take away a little Inspiration/Motivation to go read one of the books.

But the real aim of this exercise is to see plenty more titles below as I need a new book that will Inspire and Motivate me.

If you want any of these, I have put the titles below (all from Amazon). Happy Reading.

Many thanks,

Chris

Awesome ;)

For me the best book I've ever read--three times in full, in fact--was the Holy Bible! Another that I loved was the Art of the Deal by Donald J. Trump!

Thanks for an excellent share, my friend!

Jeff

Many thanks Jeffrey,

Have put the Trump book on my List.

You're very welcome, Chris! Thank you!

Best book I've read in a long time; A Shift to Bliss: The Seven Beliefs That Limit Love, Happiness, Peace and Prosperity by Nicole Bayliss.
