Have you ever wondered what is the IDEAL frequency for blog posts these days? and what is the best length for a blog post? I have...
I wanted to know if there is an ideal frequency to post per week or per month, and if there's an optimal length for each blog so I can maximize my effort and return.
A 5 year study on 1000 bloggers conducted by Orbit Media is showing us that the landscape of blogging and content marketing has changed drastically since 2014. In their 2019 Annual Survey, here are the latest trends:
- Bloggers are spending more time on a single piece of post - close to 4 hours per post.
- They are also investing more time and effort on writing longer and detailed posts - 1236 words on average per post.
- As a results, bloggers are posting less frequently on a monhtly basis.

I write and publish 3-4 posts (1700 - 2000 words each) every single week on my website and I'm currently publishing 2 videos per week on my Youtube channel.
I used to write one blog post every single day but since I started my Youtube Channel, I have less time to write, because making Youtube videos and editing them takes more time that I initially anticipated. LOL
But it's all worth it and I'm still seeing growth so I don't mind. But I'm working towards publishing 1 post a day + 1 video a day on my Youtube Channel.
