Learning

How do you learn? Do you even like to learn?

It is a lot to absorb in such a short period . We hear all the time "stick to the training".

You try to but sometimes even the training may not make sense. What do you do?

You ask question, surely someone will respond to you.

I just want to say to the newer people.

Go at you own pace. Learn how you learn.

If you need to go back over your lesson, then do that. I do. AND so do the people who has been for a long time

Soak up as much of your training as you can

At some point it will click. It happens.

Make a list and keep focus. Check off that list as you go.

Take notes and keep them because it is going to be hard trying remember everything.

More Learning

I have found several people outside of WA that are successful bloggers. Getting tips and tricks from others who are doing or have done it. Is good to place in you bag of knowledge.

Try not to stress as much as

Create good content so Google, Bing, Yahoo can see how fabulous you are

If you think 1,000 words is daunting then research how bloggers do it. Don't be afraid

Take you time. The one thing I am learning about being new is that this is the time to make the mistakes. Not that you won't make any past 6 months or a year. While sticking to the training stretch your wings and see what your made of.

Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Doing that is certain death.

Time

The one thing you don't really hear in training but stands true. Time. It will take time so allow time I mean real time. 6 months or a year. You don't want to start freaking out when things are not happening fast like you want them to.

When I came in and decided to do this, I had already made up in my mind the time I would allot. I would go hard to see what I could produce. If I am not where I want to be then I will look and reevaluate what I am doing.

My point is give yourself a chance to grow or to learn to fly before you clip your own wings.

Good Luck!!!

Just saying......

Hi Cherry, once again a fantastic post. A very valuable guideline to all.
Michael

lesbre,

I look for your comments often. I am glad you enjoyed my post. Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

Cherry, have you seen my video case study? I think it's good to have realistic expectations based on the growth trends. I tried to point those out in my case study in hopes that it would help others.

I think it's less common to have the disappointment we feel in online business in career fields like your medical background because the path is more clearly disclosed up front. In online business, there's so many false rumors and mixed messages, you'll be excited thinking you can have your full time income in 3 months, then it doesn't happen so you aim for 6 months then it doesn't happen, then you start feeling your motivation and confidence go down.

When you know up front that it generally takes 2 years or more (and those that take less are anomalies), it helps you to just focus on doing your best. Plus, I disagree with people who say this doesn't take skill. It sure does, and it takes time to hone those! Of course, it's worth it once you do and it can even be exciting along the way once things are in perspective.

If things happen early, then it's exciting when the mindset is right.

Here's my 15-month video case study in case you haven't seen it:

TDomena,

You know I admire you. I cheer you on all the time. I agreed with everything that you are saying.

I think a realistic approach is what is needed in doing this type of work. I have seen a lot of people in the short amount of time that I have been here thinking this is a job you get hired for.

In a week or two you will get your first check. It is so not like that.

Many people come and go and cut themselves off from something that could have potential been the answer to their problems but never gave enough time to see the reward materialize. I find that to be really sad.

Giving real world/ real time advice, to me is fair. Hopefully my post will help someone.

I have not seen your case study. Thank you,I will go check it out.

Be Blessed.

I see you cheering and I'm so grateful for you. I think you're right about how they cut something off too early. Hopefully, we can both participate in that change.

Great advice, Cherry, excellent for beginners.
Colette and Philip

I hope it helps them. Thank you very much. Be Blessed.

Very Well said Cherry!

Alfred.
Thank you so much. Be Blessed.

Good stuff. You are wise beyond your years. The time thing is really critical. The overwhelming majority of people who don't make it in this business just flat out gave up. It just didn't happen fast enough for them. You've got to be willing to forge ahead, even when you don't see any results. You must have faith in the process.

One mistake many newcomers (myself included) make is checking Google Analytics every day (or several times every day). Looking at those dismal numbers - and they will be dismal since you just started out - can be pretty discouraging. Just put your head down and write! You know the old saying: "A watched pot never boils."

Well said. Thank you for stopping by. Be Blessed.

Good morning my sister, there's always room to learn, the learning process never stops no matter how old you are, no matter what you are doing . When you fail to realize that you can learn then you will fail to grow. May you have a successful week.

ER,

Thank you for warm words. Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.

These are wise words for our newest members, and some of us older ones, too!

Thank you kindly. Be Blessed.
