Over the past two week, my business operations had to be put on hold while I care for my youngest son who underwent a minor surgery (took 4yrs of follow up, pushing and chasing).

This time lapse may put some entrepreneurs and business owners into total despair and uncertainty but there’s time for everything which is one of the most important lesson we must learn to achieve the lifestyle we crave.

As I reflect and ponder on the situation and obstacles with other issues that’s threatening to turn everything upside down, I want to share these simple yet powerful lessons my son allowed me to learn and implement in every area of my life :-

💫 Complaining about everything going wrong in life; steals your joy and happiness (something we know but forget how crucial it is for abundant life)

💫 Attitude is everything (staying positive and calm in the face of adversity) gives us the opportunity to grow and become the best version of ourselves.

💫 Everything that happen is working in synergy to make us soar to our highest self.

💫 Love conquers and replaces our doubts, fears and stress.

💫 Persistence and never giving up are major ingredient to achieving the greatest success in life.

Such a beautiful post, Cynthia. Your words are great reminders that we can find happiness when we remember to focus the good things in life.

Thank you Valerie, beautifully put; yes we must remember to always look on the bright positive side in life no matter the external difficulties and mental blockages :-)

Thank you, Cynthia :)

Great post
Joe

Much appreciated Joe, thank you :-)

I totally appreciate your position. I'm the sole carer for my two pre-school girls and taking care of their needs always has to come first.

I hope your little guy makes a swift recovery.

What matters, as you said, is to make sure you stay positive so when you do have the time again, you can hit the ground running.

Adversity is the hammer that tempers the steel of our determination.

Thank you very much, he's made amazing recovery and seeing the changes as a result of the surgery is super amazing and worth every worries. Our children truly makes us humble and gives us a beautiful lease of life :-)

Love your outlook on life, these things do happen in everyday living, but it is the attitude in dealing with these occurrences is what makes the difference in the outcome.

Thank you and like you said, attitude is everything; something I am appreciating everyday :-)
