How do we eradicate procrastination?
Making another cup of coffee, ensuring the lawn is well trimmed or making sure the sofa is lined up 90 degrees to the living room table, I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds themself sidetracked into doing things completely off-topic?
We get involved in a niche in which we identify as a passion, but a few posts later you find procrastination sneaking up onto you and you are less productive than what you feel you should be. How do we eliminate these feelings of procrastinating and remain focused on the task or post at hand? Personally, I try to wake up earlier than usual (the time I feel most productive is sunrise), set a few goals for the day, and crackdown on getting some content published.
I would love to hear what others, who experience a similar sort of feeling, do to deal with this sense of procrastinating, and hopefully, we can help each other.

I simply tackle each new day's surprises, Cherer! If it needs to be done, then I don't consider it procrastination! Yes, one should focus on their passion! One of mine is getting the most important tasks done, whether there is money in it or not. There usually is that impetus for me though, because some tasks I would ignore would COST me money if they are not take care of!
Very thought-provoking, my friend!

I ask myself if I really do need a head break and go and do something fun or pick a task that I'm interested in doing to ease back in to my work.
There is usually a reason that I procrastinate.
