Not There Yet
Hello folks,
I am learning so much from WA, and I want to thank everyone who contributes. I have been here for a month now, and my knowledge has increased. I wish I had known some of this stuff prior to building my website.
Traffic
Although I carefully go through my SEO after completing each post, I am not gaining more traffic. I post to Facebook every day and leave a CTA, crickets. I have been posting on Instagram and Pinterest every day as well. Nothing. I am not a quitter, but I am discouraged.
Subscribers
I have 27 subscribers. I has been the same for a month. I know it takes time, but I need to change it up somewhat. I think I might be missing something in the concept of SEO.
Affiliate Marketing
Since I have no traffic, I get nobody to buy stuff. I am changing it up a bit on my website so that the visitors can see all of the specials and deals that are running all in one place. Let's see how this works out.
Training
I am poking away at the training. I love it and having you all here makes it so much easier to handle. You all have such wisdom. I am gathering wisdom and coming here more often.
Final Thought
I am modifying some of my methods until I hit a jackpot. I know the brass ring is out there somewhere. By the way, I left a blog post so you guys can critique it. I will be darned if I can find the post and the critiques...or maybe there were none. I did critique 3 posts.
I shall return. Any comment or suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks for a place that I can express myself. I think my site cookhealthfood.com is good and the quality of writing and research is also good. SO I am stumped.

Hi - your site is only a couple of months old. Google views all new sites with suspicion for the first few months and doesn't rank your posts high enough to attract visitors.
You won't really see very much happening in terms of traffic until you have around 40 posts, which show Google that you are becoming an authority in your niche. Most people don't get their first sale until around the 6-month stage.
Plus, you are in a very competitive niche, and perhaps haven't narrowed it down enough to target a specific audience. Your own description says "I will explore the many facets of food" - with such a huge topic, how are you going to put yourself ahead of the competition? You could perhaps concentrate more on your Sicilian heritage, and make that your unique selling point, emphasising it in your posts.
I took a look at your site. Your Affiliate Disclosure doesn't meet Amazon's requirements. Take a look at this training. Plus, you are not allowed to mention the price of an Amazon product. Affiliate Disclosures, FTC Guidelines, and Amazon Rules Most of your posts are quite short, being between 500 and 800 words. You need to aim for a minimum of 1000 words.
