A new focus.
This crazy time with the Corona Virus brought my biggest dream to an end. This dream, to take a 1 year sabbatical to travel was always put on the back burner. I always felt the time was not right becauseschool and career had to be a priority. Finally at age 37, I started my travels on Sept 1, 2019 but obviously with the virus, I had to return to Canada. I wont lie - I was angry, disappointed, sad and everything in between. My current full time job will not allow me to take another sabbatical in the future. So this was a one time deal.
With this said, I am amazed how much hope and excitement WA has brought to my life in such a short time. Since I joined 2 weeks ago, I no longer wake up wondering where I would be in my travels. Instead, I jump out of bed because I want to continue the training and discover more great connections with the people here at wealthy affiliate.
I used to only use my computer and cell phone to scroll through Instagram, read the news and shop. The internet has now become a whole new world for me as I feel I can be on the other end of the internet to teach others, provide them with answers and to be an inspiration. I have been literally spending 8 to 10 hours a day doing the training, watching webinar videos, exploring WA and chatting with the wonderful community. I need to remind myself to stop and at least get my home workout done. Who thought self isolation could feel so fulfilling!!
My website is up and my next step is to create my first content on www.truehealthhub.com This is the most daunting task of all for me. My goal is to get that done today so wish me all luck!

Seems like there's always a silver lining if you look closely enough. I feel the same as you – this new opportunity makes me excited for the future.
Once that first article is up and published, it gets easier and easier. Just keep pumping them out, and you'll fill that website up before you know it!

Bummer on the sabbatical being cut short, yet its a good thing to be able to devote more time to your WA biz, right? And being able to return to Canada is always a good thing!

Hello @LeonaOnline! Another Canadian friend. I used to live in BC...for 9 years and family and marriage brought me back to Montreal, where I still hate the cold very much! haha You are absolutelt right when you say it is all MINDSET. Look at me complaining that I can ot travel - break that down and really? I am healthy, have a roof over my head, have support of friends and family and a stable job. We must always remember there are worse situations and I can not control the future. God has other plans.
