SEO Break Through!
I am currently in my 2nd week here at WA. My website is built and I am adding content each day. I have a couple other non-affiliate websites, but this is the first website I have built specifically with the end in mind - that end being getting traffic that converts!
I have faithfully added articles for the last week. It has been a pain staking process at times. I keep watching my site statistics and unless I post a blog to the forum here for feedback, my numbers weren't moving much.
I sat here for the past 2 days with 1 visitor to my website and I am not completely sure that one visitor wasn't me! I kept reading people on WA saying, just follow the program, it works. I kept reading success stories of the first dollar earned or the first web page built. Meanwhile I felt like I was sitting here "parked on dumb" when it came to getting traffic.
I felt like SEO must be my issue. Let's face it, I couldn't even find myself on Google, so how can I expect anyone else to! I went into WA and searched for content around SEO. I came across the "SEO Checklist Cheatsheet" training and watched it.
I kept having to stop the replay while I went and fixed the SEO issues on my posts and pages. In the training, Magistudios (the trainer) showed us how he submitted his blog post to googleping. I hadn't been doing that with each post.
Then he showed us how he went to both Reddit and Digg to submit the blog link to those websites. This was completely new to me, as I had never done this before. So, I did those 2 things.
BAM! I immediately started getting traffic. In less than an hour, I have already had 80 visitors to my website! It's like somebody turned the spigot on! I have never done something that got such immediate results before.
I am sure I will have a lot more to learn as I start analyzing my website statistics, but the point is that I now have statistics! From here I just have to build the audience and keep as many of them as possible coming back for more!
It was a huge break through day for my traffic and I am extremely grateful for the training and resources provided within WA. I can't report any financial gains yet, but that will come later. For now, I am thrilled with traffic!

In the training, the instructor just picked a sub reddit group to put his content in, but I went to the specific sub reddit for my topic, which is kayaking, and that made all the difference.

The training video was very helpful, I found that if I watched it and paused it and did that specific step then hit play to go to next step and so on worked better than all the notes I took.
