The Twenty Fourteen Theme...what a deal that is...pretty but...ya know...
So I have this great theme going on on www.sanfordsinternetsecurity.com and its a real pretty theme but its onoery to say the least...trying to get livefyre support on it now since it must be conflicting with something but thats the least of my worries for the moment...The main question is this...does anyone use this theme? and if so, how do you add more text boxes to the right column? It in the theme itself calls it the right content bar but it will only accept one text box for content and there is plenty of room on the right side to add lots of stuff...does anyone here know how? a good workaround the right column just taking one text box? I would sure appreciate the help...I've been digging around the WA site and searched on google with no clear answer of any simplicity and there has to be a better way than to create a child theme and do all that sort of stuff. Is there a plugin I'm missing that maybe adds content to content? lol..sounds ridiculous doesnt it..obviously i like the theme or I wouldnt be trying to find stuff out about it so anyone with any ideas, I would certainly appreciate your input...take care of yourselves and each other...God Bless...Sanford

I use Twenty Twelve and it is challenging as well, although doesn't sound quite so bad. Listen to what Carla said. Good advice.
I looked in WordPress help and they keep referencing plug-ins to add widget text boxes. Go take a look and see what's available.
I don't know why it don't let you, I just tried it on one of my sites and put in 2 text widgets. with the twenty fourteen theme.

how did you add more than one text widget? the theme only allows me to add the one and will not accept another....curious, would like to put more content on the right side....thank you
All I did was mouse over the text widget, hold down left mouse button,
move it across to the Content sidebar and let go.
Every Theme is a little different, even though you don't find out about the details until you have it installed. I assume you went through all the menu's, dashboard-->theme-->appearance-->widgets. Did you try more than one item within the one box area? Let me know more, I hope this helps.Ken
