how do you add color to the text headings within in your post?
Chris is right, you don't need a plugin just to change the colour, you do for font style and size though. Do you have any buttons at all, like this screenshot? http://screencast.com/t/m2lZrd8Uv1
I have deleted and changed my theme 3 times already and its always the same thing. Funny though when I started my new website it was there for a minute then it just disappeared..
What plugins do you have installed? If its the same with all themes then it sounds like there's a conflict with Wordpress itself. The only thing I can think of that would do this is a plugin.

It doesn't need a plugin.
While you are editing the post, in visual mode, there's a button on the menu for text colour. Just highlight the text you want in colour and choose which colour.
I can't get this to show on my site.. All I keep seeing is a bar that shows stuff like b i link b-quote etc
OK, your menu is hiding. Right at the extreme top of the window is "screen options". Tick all the boxes. One of those has hidden the menu.
In doing this I have deleted my website twice now and started over (which I hope doesn't make a difference since it was brand new) and each time its the same thig
That's weird. I have seen posts about the menu going missing but I can't find one right now. Don't delete stuff, that isn't the problem. Wait for someone to remember what makes the menu hide, or Google it while waiting. Sorry I can't be more help.
I wanted to let you know I switched to google chrome and now its working fine! Thank you again for all your help!
