Patience Required
So friends,
After a couple of days of learning, I discovered something about myself that I have suspected as being an issue for a long time. No, I am not a serial killer...
I discovered that I can only absorb so much information over a given period of time. I am anxious to get moving but I just don't know enough yet to be effective. Wow... I always thought of myself as a patient man but that is just not the case when it comes to learning something new.
So.... I am discovering that I not only need monetary goals but realistic time investment goals. Therefore, I am setting what I consider to be a realistic goal of being up and running with a viable site in three weeks.

it isn't just you Charles human beings have a limited processing power. We have absolutely limitless brains we can only process so much information at any given time. In fact you could say site design fault. When you accept that each seconds you have thousands of things to deal with. Sight sounds hearing all of these have to be processed. It's no wonder we find it hard to learn.
Take regular breaks and if you can walk for 10 minutes that's great even if it's up and down the stairs in your house and drink loads of water. Your brain is the biggest user of water in your body and it dehydrates you very fast when you're working at using your brain

sadly, the processing power is exactly the same in children is not something that increases in adults or decreases it's a design fault
Having patience will serve you well here. And you will soon discover that the more you learn, the more you realize what there is you have yet to learn.
I work like a madman for a few days and then it's like I'm stymied...I just can't seem to put two thoughts together.

Hi Charles, it's great that you've set yourself some goals. That's the best way to do things. Just remember that they need to be realistic and if you don't achieve your goals in the time that you set, don't worry about it. Another thing to keep in mind is to not best yourself up as that won't help you succeed either. One step at a time, Charles. You'll get it ☺️
