There are scams, there are product positioning. A scam is selling you a fake Louie Vuitton hand bag for the price of a genuine one.
To sell you a handbag made of different materials, with different design and at different pricing is product positioning and perfectly legal regardless of pricing as long as the price follows consumer protection guidelines.
To give something for free or trial is a marketing promotion tactic.

its a scam to get you to pay 600 a year you can make your own wordpress site hosting and free domain name for 127 a yr at at host gator compared to 600 a yr here,. same site word press same intgration into the free website here.. i read plenty of articles online that tell you how to make a page and find affiliates to market which are all free i have signed up for quite a few affiliates already for free. this site is a joke you can get free advice on google on how to do the same and have hosting domain name and web page for way less then this place. im paying 127 for a yr at host gator for a word press site unlimited bandwith and 500k visitors a month which is better this this if you stop paying your premium fee you ge tlocked out of your web page and loose all your hard work so have fun paying the 50 a month you wont make back with there affiliate lists. better to search google theres 10000 affiliates which are free to advertise for like petco game stop walmarts target and more big name places . just sign up as affiliates for them post there banner on your website and your good to go if you want to cater to 1 then make your page specific to that niche you want if you do discount stores then you can put overstock wal marts tatrget etc on your page. craft stores you can do hobby lobby joann fabrics michaels . just appeal to the advertisors then go to fivverr and get some traffic to your page about 7 bucks for 50000 visitors and you will be ok
Hey one thing you didn't cover is that you can host 25 sites here at WA for your yearly premium so that's a pretty good deal if you have multiple sites as I do - the hosting cost for me with 4 income generating sites alone would be more than my monthly premium.
Also SSL is free here at WA and I'm not sure about Host gator but at many other hosts it is an additional cost.
I think it would be true to say that many people, like myself, did try to setup and put it all together by ourselves but ultimately found the training here to be invaluable, and it continues to be.
You are not obligated to join WA as a Premium member and I can't see how being a free member could have hurt you financially.
Hi - you are a free member and can leave at any time without having paid a penny, so I don't see how that's a scam. You have taken advantage of the training and built a website for free. You can stay as a free member for as long as you want, you don't have to upgrade.
I suspect you are unhappy here because of the advice you were given. You expected to add affiliate links on the day you built your website and I advised you that it wasn't as simple as that, and takes months of hard work. Clearly you didn't want to hear this, and even now you are suggesting that you can buy legitimate visitors from Fiverr.
Certainly, if you have the time to look for all of them and weed out the fluff from the truth. Moreover, if you pay annually, the cost is only $359, and if you take advantage of the Black Friday Special in November it's even lower and will renew at that lower price every year thereafter. Moreover you're not guaranteed 500k visitors a month--if you are than they are likely BOT traffic and utterly worthless. $50/ a month is chump change when it comes to education and can also be deducted as a business expense. Any business whether online or not, costs money--don't let anyone tell you different. there is NOTHING in this life for free--someone somewhere always pays! I went to the University and a 3 credit hour half semester college course costs more than the annual fee for WA--fortunately the military paid for mine.
WA has the best affiliate program and pays the highest recurring commissions hands down. Probably the best thing about this platform is that you can get it ALL right here in ONE place! When you add up all the time and monetary expense chasing after everything you've mentioned, you are MUCH better off right here!
Wealthy affiliate is NOT a scam. I’ve been here for over 2 years and this is completely legit. No easy money can be made through this site! Hard work and commitment are required. But up-to-date training is provided, which you actually have to follow.
People that say this is a scam haven’t applied the training. You won’t get rich quickly here. I haven’t made any significant money, but I’m on a good way toward it because I follow the training and work hard.
For some it takes longer and for others it’s a bit quicker.
So, welcome aboard. Get yourself to work, do the training, ask questions, read, and you’ll see it yourself.
The monthly fee is sooooo much worth it. Every penny for me so far.

Not to worry--I joined this platform through one of these "scam" articles which basically got you to click and invariably informed you that it wasn't a scam!
