Lossing Heart
I have been reading and watching. I believe I get the simple process of adding a link. I have only had sucess once. The first time. Since, I have not been able to make any connections to my site to here at WA. Or from my articles at street articles, either. if I cant get traffic then what is the point? I have been wasting time for at lest 5 days now. Is this something that gets a ticket request from me? If I cant make this work why am I on the computer trying to make a go of it!?

It's ok to cry really loud, it's actually therapeutic. When you finish and feel better, you come back and have a go at it again, but the only time you fail is when you quit, so no need to say...DON'T QUIT. I have been trying things online since last December and it hasn't been easy but I'm not quitting, one day I will get it! And so will you. All the best.

I wouldn't give up so soon. You've just started! Give it some time, and make sure you complete the classes WA has here to learn by. I wish I could have completed all of the training,but honestly, I have so much going on that I'm still working on them. In my heart, I 100% believe full heartedly that this kind of career will get me where I really really want to be, and it's attainable! I'm not sure how long it will take you, and I'm not even sure how long it will take me, but I would give it some time before tossing in the towel. Most of my sites aren't getting a ton of traffic, but that's where I need to take more training, or talk with people who really know there stuff here. Give it a little more time, learn from the classes, and DON"T GIVE UP! I really believe you'll find a great investment here.

Yes this did help! Thank you! I wont give up. I only felt like crying really loud! I thought if I cant understand and operate a link, how would I get any where. I have completed all the courses. Now I am in the second level of boot camp. As you must know, I need to write and then write and then write some more. Sooooooo I better get back to writing :)

I have been here since June and I guess you could say I m learning the old fashioned way. That's the school of hard knocks by the way. Everything has been foreign to me so I actually had to break it down simply because I really had no idea how the internet worked. I did learn this though you can find a tool that will allow you to see if anyone is visiting your website. I was amazed by the amount of traffic I was actually getting. A lot of it came from street articles they were hitting my website on my author page and not my links in the article. So give it more time. Ignore your rank and calm down remember when you looked for a job it probably took much longer also. Do not lose heart. This I know for sure most people give up just before their big break. hang in there.

I meant it when I said we've all been there. That's what this community is all about and why WA is so different than anything else I've EVER been involved with. If at anytime you feel like this isn't working out for you again, keep posting here at WA and we'll be there for you. This really works!
You are where we've all been. It's easy to give up. What's not easy is continuing on when nothing seems like it's working. You say you have given it 5 days? Google may not even index your site for another month from now, maybe longer. But that shouldn't stop you. 5 days is not even remotely enough time to give it.
So what's the answer? Keep going. Write more blog posts. Write more street articles until your fingers bleed (figuratively!) Continue your training. Ask questions. It's okay to get discouraged. It would suck if you gave up because of it.

If I'm understanding your issue correctly......you are trying to link from YOUR site to here at WA? In other words, you aren't sure how to add a link in your content?

If linking is no longer your question or issue (although you asked if you needed to submit a ticket and that it has been 5 days....) and it is getting traffic (which you mentioned), then take a look at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-ultimate-traffic-training-level-2
If your concerns are not technical or about traffic and just being discouraged.....You have not even been here for a month. Just go through the trainings again if necessary and keep working on your sites adding content. It takes time for indexing and traffic. This is not a quick process. You are building a long-term business.
It's so easy to lose heart than to keep hope. I've been on the same boat, but I keep hope and do another article. Nothing great is meant to be easy (Or all of us would be successful). I know....it's so much easier to say forget it, toss up that towel, and just say you tried, right? I intend to try for a few months in order to at least get hope for ONE sale. That's all I really want, is just to see a 'glimpse' and I intend to wait. I don't expect to wait and not do anything though.
I want to keep trying for a few months...with a bit of a damper along my path, but I know that in the end I want to say that when I tried, "I gave 'em hell." Keep your chin up, do your best, and know when you've done your best and your all. Don't beat yourself for trying.
...because remember, this was never a quick solution...
It's easier to lose faith than to believe in something that hasn't showed its rewards yet.

I am in my edit page ( in word press) I high light "home office" I click the link button. I have copied the affiliate link at WA, I put it in the field where I was told. I press the submit or enter.... nothing happens. The screen it still. It wont change from that screen.
Before you click the link button you need to highlight at least one word in your content cause that is where you want your link o be
I just accidentally deleted my response. Make sure you are updating or republishing your page/post after adding your links. Then visit your site (like a visitor would) and you should see the hyperlink and should be able to click on it.
Also, I noticed you have 2 Wealthy Affiliate banners on your site and only the first banner is linking to here. The 2nd one is not linking to anywhere.

Well for the most part. I figured that street articles dont allow affiliate links. That is why it would not work. Also that I have to be in the text part of page/post when putting in media and links.(in word press). So I think I got it, for now.
