Problems with Pinterest

Some of you know that I had problems with publishing pins on Pinterest a couple of weeks ago.

For you guys that don`t know what the problem was, I said I would write a post about it to inform other people of a possible problem you may also come across sooner or later.

Whenever I clicked on publish when a pin was finished, it would load but not publish. I tried it a couple of hours later and on the next day. The problem didn`t seem to want to go away.

I filled out the form on the Pinterest website for support on my problem.

I received a reply straight away from a robot (automated response). The robot gave me a list of things to do, that may be the answer to my problem. Unfortunately, after going through each step, I still had the problem.

The robot told me that if the problem still stood after following the steps given, I should reply to the email. I did precisely that.

In this day and age, you would suspect someone to reply to a help request 1-2 days later. I, unfortunately, I received a reply six days later. It was also during the Black Friday weekend that made it even more horrible having to wait so long for a response.I first thought they were not going to reply but was so glad when they at last replyed.

They asked me to send them a video of my problem as an .mov file because they told me they could publish pins via my account. I sent them the video because I was still experiencing the same issue.

It turned out to be a link attached to the pin that was causing the problem. I don`t know what they did, but they managed to solve the problem in the end.

If you ever have a problem with Pinterest, give them a week to reply. Hope you never have to contact them about any issues!
