Grow Your Online Business Organically At Wealthy Affiliate
Relationships and engagement, if done well, can result in a web of benefits. I am reminded of this daily at Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
Taking what may be seen as a simple turn and spending some time travelling the road, (even if it is off our main highway), can result in some profound and sustainable benefits.
Quality Content Leads To Engagement
Lat week I made another appeal for our WA Members to get involved in Site Comments with a view to giving back and earning some income along the way. Once again, if you have not yet done so, please do. You have much to gain.
This week I started the Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) Level 5 again. I will be fully completing it this time. In Lesson 1, Kyle again speaks to the simplicity of building an online business through quality content.
Once your content of is good quality, it will attract the right people for engagement. Engagement will lead to quality comments. Quality comments result in further engagement and this will positively impact your growth in traffic and Search Engine rankings.
Remember, even with all their fancy algorithms, Google and the other Search Engines are primarily interested in quality content.
Engagement Leads To a Rise In Organic Traffic
Once you produce good quality content you will make it easy for your visitors to engage. Remember you are writing FOR YOUR VISITORS. Write conversationally. When I am writing my content I usually do it with a mirror in from of me and I actually talk with myself.
I know that may sound odd but it works for me. That mirror is my audience and I visualize myself talking with my "visitor" over a glass of wine or a strong espresso. 😊 The words just seem to flow with that construct.
In OEC Level 5, Lesson 1 we are directed to a sub-community at WA that shares comments on websites and articles - for FREE! This is aside from Site Comments where you have to pay 2 Credits or cash to buy Site Comments.
Isn't that a meaningful and generous gesture?
I think so too!
This morning I got going in our Comment Sub-Community (as I have chosen to call it), made a few friends, gave some comments and received many more in return.
It was a joyful exchange and by this afternoon I am experiencing the difference in my website's organic traffic. It looks active and healthy
The best part is that this was achieved after spending only about an hour reading other Members' articles and providing feedback.
This will definitely become a part of my daily WA life!
Commenters Refer Business And Ideas
This is the icing on the cake!
This afternoon, two interesting things happened.
1. One of my Commenters remembered a fellow Member who is working within my Niche and referred me to him. I checked out his website and engaged him. We have agreed to share content and visitors through backlinks.
Backlinks are another way to give your website authority and build organic traffic. Many people pay a lot of money just for this.
2. I got an idea from another Commenter for an interview for some content that I am researching for my first ebook.
All of this engagement and these benefits and Monday is not finished yet. I cannot wait for the week to end to measure my progress.
Be brave and curious. Engage and share. Watch your traffic grow.

I love that you mentioned backlink. My 4th-month-old website got 1800 backlinks so far. I think that's not too bad for a new site. :)

I am excited about the progress you are making in so short a time. Frequent posting and organic traffic has been one of my issues. I have just started a new site and I intend to change that trend there.

A very satisfying and fulfilling day Cassi. 'Oldschool' would say that it's akin to networking and that has stood the test of time, albeit now we can do it digitally.
Having a place where we can 'chat' about our business and share ideas. A kind of "Here's my card" but the updated version.

I like the way you write content Cassi. Good idea using a mirror. I tried it once but the mirror cracked. Guess I'll rely on my phones voice recorder. That helps me a lot, not with actual content, but more like ideas and thoughts, with a few lines of dialog thrown in for good measure.

That is a hack I have used for many years.
Sometimes I would put up a photo collage of friends and family or my vision board.
All these props help.
I use my voice recorder too when I am on the move to talk out my blogs and ideas.
