Earning Income For Comments At Wealthy Affiliate

Today is Friday, 19 June 2020. It is Labour Day in Trinidad & Tobago and therefore a Public Holiday. This is what we traditionally call a "long weekend", meaning that you have an extended day or two from the traditional work week cycle.

In honour of the day I have chosen to make this a "give back" work day. So, I have spent most of my day within SiteComments here at Wealthy Affiliate (WA).

I have shared before that I am working towards becoming a Certified Site Commenter at WA. Far too often I come across complaints about Site Comments hat members have paid for, only to be very disappointed. Some to the point of total exasperation.

Instead of being part of the problem, I have chosen to be part of the solution.

It Is Now A High Priorty

I started this journey at the beginning of March 2020. It has not been a high priority for me so i have been dabbling with it since then, starting and stopping. By doing that I have been losing my accumulation credit to be Certified.

That has changed. On Monday I raised the priority level and made it important to complete by the end of June.

With training, being active in our community, writing and researching there just was not enough time. Over the last couple of weeks I pushed through with my Online Entrepreneur Certification and am pleased to be ahead of schedule in Level 5.

This is a good juncture at which to "give back".

Why Should You Become A Certified Site Commenter?

There are so many benefits to becoming a good Site Commenter. Note that I say "good". That is an excellent starting point.

Know What A GOOD Site Comment Is - And Isn't

When I started out back in March, I dived straight into dishing out Site Comments. How hard could this be right?

I was riding the waves of enthusiasm with the feeling that I had all this down better than most. I am kind, good with words, a fairly decent writer. What could go wrong?

Well, on 6 April 2020, my eighth (8th) Site Comment was rejected. I was a little taken aback and started to find all the ways to lay blame on the member for not understanding that I was being kind. It took a day or two to return to Site Comments and face this rejection head on.

I re-read this feedback about my Site Comment more than a dozen times. And then, just like that it all clicked!

Everything I needed to learn about doing good Site Comments was contained in those three (3) sentences and I am forever grateful to that members for this learning.

In essence, you do exactly what is asked of you with the request is made, which is one or all of the following:

Do not give instructions or show your bias. You are there in the role of Visitor to the member's site with a view to helping them build engagement. When other visitors see your comment, it should encourage them to participate with the content, purchase a product or service and/or leave a positive comment themselves.

I am building out content on my websites and will soon need A LOT of Site Comments. What better way to earn spending power to pay for these comments than some up front "give back"?

In challenging myself to earn this certification, I have realsied that the Comment Boost will provide me with a fast track to getting my own Site Comments quickly. This is like going to Disney with a Fast Pass. 😁

For 24 hours after completed a Comment Boost of ten (10) Site Comments, I get bumped up when I make a request.

That is very attractive.

Of course, you are also accumulating spending power. It costs two (2) credits to request a comment. After becoming a Certified Commenter, by giving fifty (50) Site Comments, I can then solicit twenty-five (25) Site Comments.

This comes my way without having to spend a dime. Instead, I have helped a fellow member with their online business and can now reach out to engage for my own.

Before the end of June 2020 I will be a Certified Commenter, like Karin. I would like to ask you to consider following that path also.

In my humble opinion, it is one of the most effective ways to help another member, learn a new skill and gain credibility at the same time. I have not had another disapproval since I learned that very tough lesson and improved my skills.
