There is something magically enabling about waking early and starting your day with the rising sun. There is a stillness and inner peace that allow you to ground your thoughts and tap in to your emotions and energy.

Once you use the morning time well, it can make a big difference to your day and what you accomplish. If you want to be in control then may I suggest that you get a head start with a consistent morning routine.

My Trainer shared this with me and I have been following it for almost a month now. It has had a positive impact on my well-being and accomplishments. Plus, I am able to finish my day earlier and have more "do-what-I-want-to" time.

Success Is Not Only Money

We tend to measure success primarily by dollars and cents. That makes little sense.

If you do not have good health and well-being in all areas of your life, money depreciates in value. As Digital Entrepreneurs, our minds, emotions and bodies are fundamental.

COVID-19 has reminded me that life is short and we really do not know when our health will suffer. Take care of it while you can.

This does not have to be your routine, but you can use it as a guide. Just have one and see about YOU first. 🙂 There is no overloading when you are consistent with your scheduling.

It's 7:00 a.m. now and my WA workday is almost complete.

Thanks to Roy, I have scheduled my social media postings and just completed a new Facebook post.

The day belongs to me now!

Have a good one.

That early morning burst can be the most creative part of the day and definmetly the most productive. Getting into the routine initially can be a bit hit and miss but well worth the energy that is invested.

Getting the energy books to balance can be key, it can be so easy to go off the rails when staring at a screen for most of the day.

Great motivation Cassi.

Alex

Alex, you add some excellent points.

It is like any change, difficult at first.
Once you find your rhythm, it gets a lot easier.

Thank you.

If you wrote this at 7 am and complete all of the above, what time do you get up? I've been staying up until 1-2 am lately and I'm trying to change that. I do most of these but not necessarily in the same order. Wake up, water, coffee, devotions/meditate, workout, shower, frog. Now I realize there are benefits to a cold shower and after a sweaty workout, I can do warm but not cold.

Have a good weekend.

Debbi, I usually wake up at around 5am.
That internal clock has been programmed for decades.

Yep. I used to do the 1-2am as well, but now I get in between 10-11 pm.
I feel so much better after a good night's sleep.

I seem to be on my own with the cold. 😏

I used to get up at 5 for work but I got out of that habit soon after I retired. That's where I'd like to get back to.

Yep, cold is ALL yours! 🤣

I love the early start! If I wake up late it makes for a horrible day starting out.

I also like staying up late

Early mornings and late nights are when the world is a lot whiter and more relaxing making it easier to work and very enjoyable to get thinks done.

Thanks for the post!

Very interesting!

I agree, Jeff.
Those undisturbed times are a treasure.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Cassi,
I start my day early 6 am with a warm bath (no cold shower for me ,roflol) and checking on my mail before heading out for my day job.
After my dinner in the evening , work 3 hours focused on my goals of that day.
I agree with you :measuring success primarily by dollars and cents. That makes little sense.
Having a good health, care for those that are dear to you and be able to give back to those who are in need. Once I was in need myself, had to go to foodbanks to be able to feed my family and me , nowadays I am proud to be able to give back to the foodbanks.
All the best ,
Luc

No one seems to like cold showers but me, Luc. 😃

I love that you are giving back.
So many just keeping walking forward without looking back to stretch a hand.

You are blessed.

No cold shower for me, but I appreciate your guidance on establishing a routine. I like what you said that "Success is not only Money" which is so true. Our health is something we need to pay attention to, especially during this time. If we're not healthy, then nothing else will matter. Thanks Cassi.

I am with you there Eugene

Very, very true, Eugene!

Good health is a MUST.
