1 Lost Is 1 Too Few- Or Too Many, Depending (This Is What Makes All The Difference!)
Too Few
Last year, I turned my nutrition and health inside out.
Every female can identify with this. The ups and downs, ins and outs of managing our weight, looking and feeling good in the clothes that adorn our bodies and the attendant scrutiny that follows.
If I were a man, life would be easier . . . or maybe not.
I love to see a man well-groomed, dressed in linen and wearing fine shoes.
Gets my attention every time.
But, alas! I digress. Tut tut.
Back to my nutrition and health.
After years of yo-yoing, I buckled down, cleared by fridge and kitchen cupboards and embarked on a journey filled with whole foods, farm-raised and grown with love.
Best decision ever!
Getting back to my early 30s body, with better health and more energy than I can burn.
I did not lose 1 pound. That would be too few.
I lost 15 and muscle continues to replace the fat that I waved goodbye.
Too Many
Last year, I lost a special Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Client.
Long story short, he was locked out of his account and struggled to get back in. As it turned out, there was a problem with the email address that he used.
He left, understandably upset and vowed to "never" return to WA.
Although his reasoning made sense, the loss stayed on my mind and I kept in touch with him ever so often.
Lo and behold, (keeping with the Season's theme), my North Star shone brightly when I received this email: -
Losing 1 Client is one too many.
I know WA is not for everyone but there are some who I know, with the right support and consistent effort, will succeed.
This Client is one of those.
The Lesson
The lesson is simple,
To make a difference you have to be different.
So, in 2024, walk taller, shine brighter and be the North Star to your Clients.
They may lose their way for a while but they will always remember you and just might find their way back.

It's good to hear from you again! I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen a post from you lately. I trust you had a great Christmas.
I hear you, Cassi. It's not good to lose clients, but I understand his frustration, especially if he is new to the platform and then gets locked out. This just shows the importance of encouraging people along the way and staying in touch.
I believe many more people would succeed if they just had a little extra help and encouragement.

We took some time off in December for much-needed family time.
Relatives flew in from France and the UK and it was good to enjoy each other's company and celebrate life.

It's good to take some time out and spend time with family, especially if you are scattered across the globe!
I had two weeks off work, which was good as it enabled me to catch up with some Internet stuff, etc. Christmas is a good time for me to stop as work is generally quieter outside for me. It was also nice to catch up with family and friends.

The last two years, I have started the year off with a 21 day fast. It's not a total fast, but I just eat once a day in the evening. I actually started on New Year's Eve, so today (Saturday) is my last day.
I actually do it as a biblical principle; however, apparently, the boffins also say that it's good for the body! I do feel it's good discipline personally for me, which I can also put into practice for business, as in taking action and not putting things off.
So, for example, there is that temptation to grab some food or have a beer in the evening with my meal. I believe this brings discipline for business, especially when we put off doing something. I think I really need to also restrict my time more on Wealthy Affiliate! I love the platform, but realistically, I probably spend close to one hour on the platform most days. This literally equals potentially seven extra blog posts on my website! I appreciate that there is a fine line and it's good to network and learn from others.

Most days, I practice intermittent fasting, eating between 1-7 pm.
When we eat too much, there is little energy left for the body and mind to take us where we want to go.

That's good, Cassi! From what I understand, it's generally a good practice. I hear where you are coming from; I believe it's important not to be greedy with food! I would like to do more regular fasting, Cassi; it looks like you already are!
I'm glad you can see where I'm coming from, Cassi. Right now, I'm replying to comments, etc, and the clock is whizzing around! It's not a complaint, but as you said, you had to put aside some Wealthy Affiliate time, which makes a lot of sense.
So far, so good, Cassi. I had to drop my wife off at the airport at 5 AM yesterday morning as she is now in Greece. It will be hot there, but overall, it will be much warmer there than in the UK.

I may do, Cassi, but I haven't got that far yet.
It is their winter there, but they still have nice days with blue skies, the other day it was 19° C, which is around 70°F, I believe.
I just looked at the forecast for Thessaloniki, and it is literally blue skies for the next two weeks! It's not too bad! Last year I went at the end of February and sat outside having a coffee looking at the sea in brilliant sunshine, it was snowing in the UK!
