Video and Blog Links in WA Spaces
WA Platinum has been now live for two weeks and we are already busy getting new additions to the community added to improve the learning experience for everyone! Today I want to outline two updates to WA Spaces that have been requested by a number of people.
1 - Linking to Blog Posts!
Blogging at WA has taken on a whole new life since the introduction of WA Platinum. Many people are using blogging as a way to communicate and document their learning. It's a great medium to share information with your peers and the entire Wealthy Affiliate community.
Each blog post that you make can now be linked to directly. This allows you to link to your blog posts in forum posts, your forum signature, or anywhere within the system. Maybe within another blog? Each blog you own has a unique "link" associated with it and you can copy / paste that link anywhere you want to send people back to that post!
2 - Youtube and embedded video is back!
You can now add youtube, or embedded video's to your blog posts. To add a video, you simply copy/paste the embed code you get from youtube into your Blog editor.

** Note: that you need to click the "Source" tab at the bottom of your blog editor before you paste the HTML code.
These two upgrades are just a couple of many to come. There are a ton of tweaks and brand new systems planned for WA Platinum, this is just the start.

Yes the Video above is the video from our homepage here at WA and you can use it in anyway you like to promote WA. Creating a page with this video, and your affiliate links above, or below the video would work well. Keep in mind you can send your visitors directly to the order page by using our links & tracking tool under the "Affiliate Program" menu.
Jennifer, just remember that you need to paste the EMBED code from youtube into the "Source" tab and click save without going back to the "Design" tab. We're working this out right now so you can go back and forth, but for the moment once you paste your video embed code, click "Save" right away while still on the Source tab.
It's nice to be able to add relevant videos to our Blogs now. I'm a big advocate on the use of videos. When you see a process clearly shown in a video it sure makes the associated course or documentation so much easier to digest. The images from a video is somewhat like a picture worth a thousand words. Keep those upgrades coming guys. I'll be using them at my website and other blogs too to promote WA.
