Follow Up Of The Holden State Of Origin Series
Tonight is Game 2 of the annual State of Origin Series between Queensland and NSW to be held in Sydney, the blues stomping ground! NSW fans will turn ANZ Stadium into a Blues Cauldron for the crucial game as the home team chases a famous series win.
THE Blues’ (NSW) stunning 28-4 win over Queensland in Game I in Brisbane has
set the stage for one of the most anticipated sporting events in years,
with tickets to Game II in hot demand as NSW aim to lift the Origin
Shield for the first time since 2014.
Of course, Queensland fans will be there in droves also but will have to be prepared for a Blues Fortress at the Stadium!
With Queensland's main player missing from Game 1 due to injury and with Game 3 to be played in Brisbane, a win for the Maroons could set retiring Jonathon Thurston up for the perfect finale at Suncorp Stadium.
There is not a single Queenslander who wants to see Jonathon Thurston finish his Origin career on a losing note.
But that is a very real possibility as the Maroons face one of their biggest challenges of the last decade in trying to save the series in enemy territory. It certainly is going to be a tight match. The concern is that the Qld game selectors have selected the wrong players to try to secure the win.
Queensland coach Kevin Walters denied this week his team would try to make
this game about Thurston. He said the Maroons are under too much pressure
already. From a Queenslander's point of view it would be nice to finish up at Queensland's Suncorp Stadium Game 3 so hopefully the Maroons get the job done tonight. I feel NSW will win a close game :(
Go the Maroons!

Well, I'm not from Australia. I have no clue what you're talking about. I guess it's about baseball. May the better win!
